The breakfast is very good. Location is walkable to Old Town. During my 3 night stay in this hotel had a Fire Emergency alarm 2 nights in a row but the hotel compensated us in fairness.

Carpet was pretty dirt in the room. Beds and pillows were not comfortable. Even thou it’s close to old town it’s still 30-40 min walk to main areas. Reception was friendly and fast, but I was not allowed to eat a croissant in the lobby because it was not purchased at the hotel. Hotel manager literally told me to take my croissant to the outside of the hotel and eat it there even though I purchased drinks in the hotel. I travel a lot and this seems insane.

Excellent hotel for families

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was almost like 2 rooms with a corridor between. It was large and spacious. The hotel staff were very helpful. The pool was small and very busy with families when we tried to use it. The location is brilliant and it was only a 15min walk into the old town. We enjoyed our stay here.

The check-in process was quick and the receptionist friendly and personable. The room was play apart from the fact that the toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom with no hand washing facilities. Not having a sink when using the toilet is a bit gross in my opinion. We stayed for 2 nights and I found that bit weird. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We had booked a family room so had a bath and a shower. The breakfast was good. We also had dinner there once and the food was very nice. Their Thai curry tasted really authentic and delicious. There’s a little play area for young children opposite the check in desk which is a nice touch for younger children. The pool was cold but once you get over the initial shock you enjoy the swim regardless. My son liked the pool. In terms of service, I felt you couldn’t fault the staff at all. Everyone was friendly and polite and spoke English as well as German. The area around the hotel is a little odd in places, not helped by the rain making everything look a little sad. It’s a close walk to the S-Bahn and Deutsches Museum. We travelled by train to reach the hotel but the parking garage was located under the hotel and there is a petrol station a few doors down which I’m sure is handy for people who use their car.
