My review is for a seaview room in the main building. Possibly the best compliment for a business is returning. It's the 3rd time I've stayed here and second under the Paradox brand. Always pleasant having sunset drinks on the balcony. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and well appointed. Relaxed breakfast...get up early and go for a beach front walk then beat the crowds to breakfast. Easy walk to external dining options and entertainment. Thx Paradox staff and see you again soon 😊🙂

Karon beach is an amazing place. Paradox does an amzing job histing you while you are there as a guest. Friendly staff that is always helpful!!!! we have been two years in a row and qill definitely go back.

Great breakfast

Very large resort with mainly Russian clientele. Room with plunge pool was highlight for me and this allowed us to kick back and relax. Three swimming pools nearby but temperature of water was very warm especially the main pool. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Especially liked the fresh juice bar. A 5 minute walk across the road took you to karon beach but this was too crowded for me

I had a one bedroom seaview room and first arrived as the sun was setting which looked absolutely incredible. I was welcomed with a fruit bowl which was lovely and a nice touch. The bed was huge, which was great and I had a massive TV. The room was very clean and had a lovely balcony which looked over the pool as well as the view to the sea. The pool was fantastic, it had a swim-up bar serving great cocktails. Even the lobby is incredible and a great place to chill out in. Staff were friendly and would helpfully offer assistance.

The best thing about this resort is its location—right in front of Karon Beach, which is absolutely beautiful. If you stay in one of the cabanas, you’ll be much closer to the beach, but if you’re in the main building, expect a bit of a walk. One downside was that the hotel was undergoing major construction, which made the pool area pretty noisy during the day. While I understand that renovations happen, I would have appreciated being informed about it before arrival. It wasn’t a huge issue for us since we spent most of our time at the beach, but if you’re planning to relax by the pool, it’s something to consider. Another minor issue was the shower in our room—the water temperature fluctuated between freezing cold and scalding hot. We didn’t report it until checkout since it didn’t bother us too much after being in the Phuket heat, but for families with kids, this could be a concern. Overall, the resort has a great location, but given the issues we experienced, I’d likely choose a different hotel next time.

You should stay here!

Couple/60's. One if the best resorts we have ever stayed at. From the minute we checked in it felt like home. Beautiful grounds full of gardens and wildlife. Its a large resort but easy to navigate. Plenty of shops and restaurants along beach row. No need for a cab, you could walk everywhere. Both restaurants on site served fantastic food at reasonable prices.

Room service is just average and never ever try to book taxi or cab from Hotel because they are so careless even after paid him.The cab didn’t come on time thats the only negative point other than this everything is good.

We had a supreme garden villa with a plunge pool. We arrived early at the resort before lunchtime. Our room wasnt ready so we had early lunch at the restaurant. There was no welcome drink considering reception were not busy so no excuse. After lunch we had to wait over 2 hours for our room. We were exhausted from travelling from LHR and were told we would get our villa before 3pm. It was 2.30 by the time we had it. The villa itself was spacious but outdated. The a/c was effective but could not be adjusted to desired temperature, so at night it was too cold when on. The gardens around the complex were poorly maintained although there were gardeners working. Not what i would expect from a 5 star property. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. The hotel is across the road from the beach. There are no eating or toilet facilities on the beach which was inconvenient. I had to use the Mint restaurant which is adjoining the hotel I emailed the hotel prior to our visit as we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary. They agreed to add a special touch on the day which never happened. Overall ok but was expecting more.

The hotel complex itself is really nice, it’s big but it’s well maintain with really nice grounds, pool and bar/lobby area, very grand! We stayed in the garden villa rooms which was really nice, great outside area with a little plunge pool and huge bath big enough for two. It also had good access to both the town side and the beach. So if you want a nice hotel in Karon beach area then I’d highly recommend. We weren’t as impressed with Karon as an area, had a very typical tourist vibe, like you could have been in any typical hot cliche beach resort but if that’s your thing then this hotel is a great place to stay.
