This property will be renovating the guestrooms and lobbies in the Main and Annex Towers, and the Restaurant Ajikaido Gojusantsugi, from 9 AM-5 PM on November 1, 2026, to April 1, 2029. The location is hard to beat: short walk to Shinagawa Station which is a major train hub for Tokyo and all of Japan. The room also had a great view of the station area. Beds were very comfy and the water pressure from the shower was great.

Booked 2 rooms. 1st room #2650 had stained carpets, frayed at the seam, grout in bathroom looked dirty, walls scuffed up. 2nd room #2651 smelled of body odor right when you opened the door. Tried to change rooms, but was told hotel all booked up. Staff finally smelled it and the room got changed. Luggage hold was great. Yamoto Black Cat luggage to airport was great. Hotel close to train station. Exterior of hotel is nice, but rooms were old looking. Interior needs updating. Step into the bathroom was dangerous. Tub hard to climb over for showering. Not sure if all the rooms are old and worn looking. Just felt dirty in the rooms with the stained carpet.

The room was fine. Nothing special, pillows need a refresh. As far as being advertised as family friendly, I didn’t feel like it was. The pool that we booked for has been closed since September 2024 and there was nothing informing us that it was closed. Also, many of the restaurants are set course menus which is not ideal for families/kids. A lot of construction going on around the hotel as well made it loud and a few areas to navigate around when walking. No plugs near the beds was also slightly annoying.

Convenient spot right across from Shinagawa Station, rooms are clean and staff are frenly. Hence am back to stay here for another 7 nites when my trip to Saporro Was cancelled due to bad weather situation.

The room was spotless and there were thoughtful elements like complimentary waters and toothbrushes. It was nice to have hair dryers available in the rooms.
