Not suitable for families

This hotel is not family friendly. There were no elevators, and we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor using winding stairs, it was exhausting and inconvenient. To make things worse, there was no air conditioning, which made the room very uncomfortable, especially in warm weather. On top of that, the outside noise was loud and disruptive, making it difficult to sleep. Don't even get me started on the bathroom, UGH. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience — I would not recommend this place for families.

The hotel is convenient to the Central Train Station, also walkable to many sites. Only issue we had was very noise in middle of night with party crowds.

We had a quad room facing Amsterdam Centraal - this was an excellent location and view The narrow circular staircase was a little challenging to navigate with luggage. First place we stayed that included breakfast... very well done with sausage, eggs, mini pancakes and lots of cold options. Would gladly stay here again.

Great location if you want to be in the center of the action, staff are so amazing, breakfast was wonderful. No AC and it was a heat wave so hard to sleep at times .

The location was convenient to touring the city and the central train station. The power was out for several hours in the morning, which made it difficult to get ready, have breakfast, and checkout.

Pros: location was easily accessible to multiple points of interest. We appreciated they provided a room upon our arrival mid-morning. Friendly and helpful check-in. Cons: Exhausted, we ventured into the area identified as where breakfast would take place and made a cup of coffee. Instantly a man appeared and said I had to pay 4E. That same coffee machine was used for our breakfast (included). Our window faced the street with a beer garden. Happy people stayed there until the wee hours, leaving us with little sleep. Upon checkout, the couples (multiple) behind us paid 163E yet we paid 199E - and that should have been $204US, but $227US was charged. Now I need to follow up:(

Super friendly helpful Staff. Very very close to station. Decor is a little old and bumped about and dowdy. But still very clean and functional. No qualms about the bathroom cleanliness. My room was probably the worst for noise. Very quirky 1st floor with low windows onto backstreet. Very odd but kinda fun layout with stairs IN the room. But all too be expected for super location in an old building, Breakfast was just OK. But again not bad for the price. Really the staff helpfulness made the difference.

The best part of Prins Hendricks hotel is that it is located in a good spot. It is across from Central station, so an easy walk. The rooms are clean but old. Our room it was hard to find electrical outlets. The downside is that it is very noisy. We had two rooms. The room in the front of the hotel was fine. The room on the alley side was very very loud,all night. The breakfast that was included was a good way to start the day.

Really enjoy this hotel , been several times . This time our room had horrid smell and a dirty sock over the smoke detector. Did keep forgetting to mention at front desk as staff on desk are brilliant . But we were not touching someone’s dirty underwear stuck on ceiling . Also waitress in dining room 1st morning was really rude , for no reason . Would not answer when we asked for help . For price paid this has really put me off as we love Amsterdam , but this took the shine of what until now was my favourite place to stay .
