Enjoyable stay

2 bed Apartment very spacious clean and quiet on 3rd floor in the San Jorge. Only disappointment was we were a family of 6 but only 4 could sit and eat on the balcony 4 chairs one small table. We asked for another table and two chairs but over our sixteen day stay the best that could be done was an extra 2 chairs. We were not all inclusive so table and chairs were important. Two balcony lights took two attempts to get one working

disappointed

when we booked it was in an all inclusive list, however we had to pay another 200 euros each when we got there as they said we were self catered but we were given a room with no kitchen etc ?

Some january sun

We checked into a room with a seaview...the views from the balconies were stunning. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable.Lovely shower ..the best ive experienced on holiday. Room servce ladies always friendly and polite,helpful and considerate.We went self catering so cant comment on food...my only negative is the pool area could do with some new sunbeds.Hotel very central to beach and restaurants and entertainment. Will definetly be back !!!!

Clean but noisy

Kept nice and clean but found it difficult to sleep because of noise from bar underneath and doors banging at all hours

Great Value

10 nights self catering. Location is great close to the local restaurants , marina and beach. Pool area's nice and clean.

Good, relaxing location

Enjoyed our stay. Location was great as we just wanted to relax and not be in the middle of the resort. Rooms clean and tidy, we had a lovely wraparound terrace but think that is because we had the 2 bedroom 'suite', which was located on the top floor. Bit disappointed with the lack of facilities, and the nightly entertainment left a lot to be desired, but hey, if you want more entertainment head into town. Onsite restaurant was on a rip though, so glad we opted to eat out every night prior to arrival, as would be expensive to use the supermarket for the basics of a self catering stay.

Fantastic Holiday

After reading some other reviews I decided to try this place out. I must say it was a nice surprise to see how clean the rooms were, the area in general must have been powerwashed at least twice that week not too mention the doors etc getting a good clean.... will be returning soon I hope.

Great 3 star

Just returned from a 10day stay...Have to say it is a great 3star hotel and great value for money.We did b and b...After reading other reviews before going we didn't know what to expect but we really enjoyed our holiday...After all a holiday is what you make of it yourself so don't sit around waiting to moan about stuff when you should be out enjoying yourself..

Suprise weekend in Fuerte

My experience isn't great. I cannot fault the arrival staff but the location of my room, the fact that the reception in my part of the suites was not manned, my room was above a pub facing the road, no nice view. When I arrived and walked into my room I was very disappointed, it felt dark and very run down. The sofa was a disgrace and it smelled of stale cigarettes. I did not feel safe and I decided to pack my bag and not stay in the hotel at all. I did not cancel my room as I had to try to organise to stay somewhere else and didnt want to be without any accommodation. Therefore I cannot really comment on the facilities or the resort as I did not stay overnight. I checked the room everyday but I felt too vulnerable to stay overnight alone. The rooms are in serious need of a makeover and more thought when lone travellers book a room. The reception staff on check out (a day early) did not ask why I was checking out earlier, which is a shame.
