Excellent location. Staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is an ageing gem. The rooms inparticular need to be updated as they are showing their age and are a bit tired and battered in parts. The location saves it, sandwiched between the beach and the Safari centre with all the restaurants snd shops.

The property was very dated , not at the cleanliness I would have expected of a 5 star hotel !

The location of the hotel is great. The pool and terrace are really good. Plenty sun beds but the hotel condition is tired and tatty. The furniture in the rooms are shoddy and the walls are paper thin. The bathroom has seen better days. The enamel was off the bath and the shower was difficult to control water temp wise. Whilst I know I booked a mountain view room, the room was overlooking the bins and we were wakened every day by the staff emptying an abundance of trash and bottles into these bins and you couldn’t open the patio door for diesel fumes from the delivery trucks. This was my third visit to this hotel and I think my last for a while until they renovate the rooms. The breakfasts had plenty choice but I did see hairs in the salad.

Really like this hotel. Yes the rooms are a little dated but they are clean and comfortable. Amanda was our daily cleaner and was very friendly and did a good job. The location is great for the beach and for getting to shops and restaurants but if you have a mountain view room, the road can be noisy. Air con was also a bit on the noisy side. Pool area is superb. Towels are provided without the need for a deposit. The breakfasts were superb. Good English breakfast and fruit cereal and all the trimmings. Reception staff were great and couldn't have been any more helpful. Courtesy room provided for when we left was spotless and fully stocked with towels and toiletries. This was my second visit and we will definitely be back in December this year.
