I stayed at the Tropicana for five days with my husband and two teenage sons. It was right on the boardwalk and perfect location! I loved all of the indoor shops that Tropicana had along with all of the restaurants. We ate at many restaurants inside the Tropicana and they were all fabulous. Very pricey, but everything along the boardwalk is so be prepared! Inside the Tropicana, they also have great desserts to choose from. The kids pool was not that nice looking. The kids took one look at it and said no way. The outdoor pool was way too windy on the days we were there so we did not use that. The adults only pool looked great! The fitness center was out of this world. I do not believe there is a better fitness center at any hotel. five stars for that alone! The room itself was just very mediocre. But how long are you gonna stay in the room anyway? It was outdated and they do not clean the rooms daily. They didn’t even do it at all in the five days. They will give you fresh towels upon request. We had to place our garbage outside of the door every day. The elevators were great. They were so fast climbing 40+ floors in a matter of a few seconds. The staff was very nice. However, upon check-in, it was chaotic and they were going through the process with you very fast. Definitely not too friendly or over welcoming. But OK. We did not utilize the gambling, but that looked like a lot of fun. I would recommend Tropicana.
