Cabin was lovely! Host was very responsive to my questions. There were lots of extras that we didnât anticipate, but really appreciated like baby gates (we used these to keep our dogs away from exterior doors), coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Wi-Fi was excellent for working and streaming. The neighborhood felt very safe, the dogs and I explored a lot of it (even the fairly steep hills) a lot. Sitting out on the top screened in deck was definitely our favorite. Only drawback, which wouldnât prevent us from staying here again was the neighbor next door does turn around in the driveway several times every day which upset my dogs (we live on 5 acres at home, so they arenât used to cars in the driveway). The neighbors also have multiple dogs in their fenced backyard, but they do bark a lot. We did learn telling them to âstopâ or âshushâ helped. Loved the cabin, and will look into it again if we are in the area!
Great location and home! We enjoyed the screened in porch and seeing bears coming down the drive! The home has many charming features and is well stocked with the essentials. We will be back in a few months!
Summertime fun.Family trip/work-business mode.Relax fun release. Mountain trip. Views were my reason to be inspired.Too hot to describe!Rain thunder winning daily.Dog Lulu not happy.Fireworks!?ugh.Overall lite fare.
This property was well maintained and clean. It was perfectly located for our interest in visiting the area for the first time. The view was my favorite part - I spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying sunrises, morning fog, gentle breezes, and sunsets. The host was always responsive to our questions, making sure our needs were met. Everything about the house was warm and welcoming - above and beyond expectations.
This cabin is the perfect place to get away: nestled into a mountain, yet minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge. It was both updated and cozy and had everything we needed.
Beautiful view, comfortable, and convient to different areas
The property was beautiful, house was very well kept and clean, comfortable beds and kitchen had all our basic needs. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their home with us. The amenities were great for our family, shuffle board table being out favorite. The view from both the upstairs and downstairs porch is breath taking and the mountain air, just what we were looking for to renew during our stay. We hiked during our stay, the house location was perfect to explore Cherokee National Forest (TN), Amicalola Falls and Vogel State Park in reasonable driving distance. Being 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge there where many great options for food and shopping. 30 min away in Blairsville Jims Smoke N Que has fantastic BBQ. All to say we had a fantastic time, loved the house and the area and will return in the future.
My family and I recently spent our spring break in Blue Ridge and had a great time. The cabin is only a short drive to downtown and about 30 minutes to the national forest. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and I personally enjoyed the Mountain views.
We absolutely loved this cabin! It's very quiet and the views are breathtaking! We liked the pictures of the cabin but it's so much better in person! There's plenty to do between taking in the views and playing in the game room. There was plenty of room and didn't feel cramped at all. This cabin far exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend this to anyone!
My husband and I stayed at the cabin for 4 weeks with our 2 dogs. The cabin is beautiful and the views are amazing. Everything was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We cooked meals during the week and had adequate equipment to do so. The beds were super comfy. The outside deck which is screened in was great, especially for my husband who worked from there and the yard was nice for the dogs to roam around. We visited local vineyards, breweries and the Mercier Orchard which is amazing. Blue Ridge is very nice with plenty of food options but you do have to drive to everything. Hot tub was great, we also used the fire pit which was great but could use some outside lighting,We would definitely stay here again, although there was only the 2 of us it would be just as great with a larger group. All of the local people were also very frierendly.
Very nice place to stay. Clean and very accommodating. The towels and washcloths were high quality. Not your cheap white towels you see most places. Beautiful view! It was a wonderful weekend.
Lookout Point was the perfect location for our family trip
Located between McCaysville & Blue Ridge - perfect for all our adventures. White water rafting, kayaking, horseback rides, ziplining all within 20 minutes or so. The home was very clean, and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The only annoyance was the dogs next door - as mentioned in other reviews- they barked alot, and through the night our first night. The hot tub was clean, the grill worked great, and the ice maker was able to keep up. Loved the screen porch, especially watching storms come in. We would definitely stay again.
The house was well furnished and beautiful! Everything was as advertised. We had 1 minor problem text Sarah and she was right on it and got it fixed! Some people complained on other reviews about the neighbors dogs. They did bark but don't let that stop you from renting the house. The hot tub worked great and I had no problems with the grill
Wow! Our stay was so comfortable & peaceful. We can tell how much love & care the owner puts into this house. The cleanliness was outstanding. The thought of putting a game room downstairs was fun for the family. The famous game of all that my kids enjoyed playing was the "Tiki Toss". We were in "awe" with the mountain view top. We ate all our meals watching the view. Nothing was missing. We felt at home! We will surely come back!
The house has a cool layout, is nicely landscaped, and is complete with a hot tub, game room, full kitchen, and a large screened in porch with a great view of some mountains (I'm from Florida, so they looked like mountains to me). It's 5-10 minutes to the town of Blue Ridge, white water rafting or tubing areas, and even closer to the Mercier Apple Orchard store. It's less than a mile off the highway on decent roads, in a quiet area. There's a Dollar General about 2 miles away if you forget to bring something. If you come, beware that there are no alcohol sales in the county, except in some wineries or orchards, and maybe some restaurants. It was a good value relative to hotel prices in town. I would stay there again for sure.
This was an amazing place! The beds were so comfortable and sheets so soft. Though we didnât cook we noticed the kitchen was very well stocked. The screened in porch with the beautiful Mountain Viewâs was absolutely breathtaking! Everything was beautiful and clean and well cared for. We were gone a lot and didnât get to enjoy a lot of the amenities like the fire pit and the hot tub and the game room but all were wonderful touches that will ensure we will be back again!
I almost dont want to leave a review as I want to go back and dont want the bookings to fill up.
The location was perfect, the rooms were incredible, communication was clear and quick. We will be returning as this was an amazing place with so much to do.
It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my moms 70th birthday
We had an amazing stay @ Lookout Point. The views abound with so much beauty and as far as the eye can see you canât help but stop and take it all in from all the vantage points this home offers. The host was prompt to make sure we arrived and were all set . The host responded promptly to any of our inquiries. The screened in porch is amazing to be able to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. We made amazing memories with our family.
We had a wonderful time in Blue Ridge. The cabin was more than we expected! Beautiful view from the sceened porch! We explored all the surrounding towns, came back and just sat on the porch. The cabin has everything you will need. The beds are super comfy too! Thankyou.
