The location was great, and the hotel itself was decent. The restaurant food was perfect really delicious. The bedding was very comfortable, but you could hear noises from outside the room. Overall, it was okay, but nothing outstanding!

Hotel is tired but staff are fabulous. We booked for the pool but got told when we arrived it was closed due to repair work. Had they told us that we would have cancelled as we wanted to swim. They did offer a taxi ride to a sister hotel over a mile away but that just did not seem sensible. It was about having the pool in the hotel. Then the heating broke, and we had an evacuation so it was a bit of an eventful stay. Staff saved it. They were excellent. Whole place needs a freshen up as tatty.

This was a great hotel in all aspects. It's a cost effective hotel, with an awesome location as well. The rooms were clean and very spacious (us Americans love our big spaces! LOL) We had some issues with parking after we had already returned home, and the hotel costumer service, specifically the manager, was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again.
