Nancy and Nate are very nice. The farmhouse is a quaint and comfortable antique home with decorations that match the rustic beauty of the house. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The shower has great pressure. Itâs really rural and better to arrive in the daytime since the roads can be a directional challenge in the dark. Thereâs no breakfast, but there is a coffee pot with coffee in the room. Thereâs a kitchen to use for a fee. Itâs a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle.
This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive.
Hosts are lovely and not intrusive.
These people were not ready to receive guests. Room was small, stuffy, and crowded with nick-knacks. No shelf space at all. There was no desk nor space to open luggage. The air conditioning barely worked. There was a profound lack of privacy. The host's study was adjacent to our room and the host was in the room when we went to bed and when we got up the next day. Creepy! We checked out early after one night. Please refund two nights.
