Had a room on the top (4th) floor..great views of the Bosphorus. Some disturbance at night from the noise of the air con. unit on the roof above our room. This hotel is in the perfect location for the Blue Mosque, Topkapi, the Hippodrome, the Basilica Cistern and the tram system. All are within 10 minutes walk. Lots of good eating places around.

Dear Christine, Many thanks for taking time to express your opinion about Saba Sultan Hotel, based on your recent stay. As you mentioned within review we are exceptionally lucky to be situated in such a fantastic location and we are pleased to hear that you appreciate the surroundings as much as we do. And I am really happy that you enjoyed our Bosphorus view, you are always welcome to our terrace to drink something :) We work so very hard to have our guests feel very special and well cared for during their visit to Saba Sultan Hotel and so I am truly sorry to read that you felt a little down by your experience. I would just like to point out that it is not our air conditioning that makes this noise but those of our neighbors. We are doing the necessary to move it. Please don't take too long to comeback as all the team at Saba Sultan Hotel is looking forward to welcome you back. Best Regards From Istanbul Miss Saba Rasouli General Manager

Best place to stay in Istanbul

In a nutshell it is a brilliant place to stay, the staff are really friendly and helpful, clean rooms, great breakfast, superb location (but make sure you know where it is from the Blue Mosque because at night it is easy to get lost),very reasonably priced with fantastic sea views. It deserves 5 out of 5.

By far the best place to stay in Istanbul.

Superb clean hotel with very friendly helpful staff in a fantastic location near the Blue Mosque with stunning sea views. Couldn't praise it more if I tried.

Great location

Helpful and friendly staff, great location, would of liked a sea view but the room was fine. The main female receptionist was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. On the downside I asked the hotel for airport transfer which they did, this was great but expensive, I could have got it much cheaper as I noticed in the local travel shops but I did have great time

A good place to stay for tourists to Istanbul

The location is excellent, close to Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Bosphorus ferries - within 10 minutes' walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. The double room we used had everything expected of a 4 star hotel. The only reservation we have is about the ensuite shower/toilet. which was a bit on the small side.

Anniversary stay in Istanbul

Lovely weekend break in Istanbul. Hotel is in a great location for exploring the old city. Staff were very friendly and helpful - giving us recommendations to local restaurants, booking taxi to airport etc. Breakfast was simple, fresh and plentiful. Sea views from the window in the hotel room and despite the cold conditions we went up to the terrace to sample the views of the blue mosque. I've slept on more comfortable beds, but other than that the room was fine, with water and coffee facilities provided.

A Treasure in Istanbul

Tucked away in a quiet street only minutes from the great Mosques this small boutique hotel is great value. Tastefully decorated it has all the mod cons but more importantly its staff, led by the charming Tuba, is kind and welcoming. A delightful experience. Captain Kenneth Cropper
