"Das war der schlimmste Aufenthalt bisher in den USA. Die Traditional Zimmer sind absolut hellhörig, als ob die Wände nur aus Papier bestehen. Double Queen liegen im Nebengebäude im Erdgeschoss, während die größeren Dreibettzimmer im Obergeschoss liegen. Man hört jedes Wort, jeden Schritt und die Klospülung des Zimmers oben drüber klingt, als würde sie über dem Kopf ausgeschüttet. Das Personal kennt das Dilemma, kann und will aber nicht wirklich helfen. Bestenfalls bekommt man ein entschuldigendes Schulterzucken, oder aber auch flapsige Kommentare und das Angebot, ins Basement neben den Maschinenraum oder gegen Aufpreis von 100-200 USD ins Haupthaus oder eine der einzelstehenden Cabins umzuziehen. Wenigstens gibt es beim Frühstück einen Kaffee, der seinen Namen verdient, und Butter (statt Margarine). Das kann aber die Defizite bei dem furchtbaren Zimmer nicht ausgleichen. Alles in allem mein Rat: Finger weg, besser was anderes buchen oder gar nicht im überteuerten Jackson."
