The rooms were clean and comfortable. I appreciated that housekeeping came everyday, and later in the day. There were quite a few dining options on-site, including a casual dining restaurant which had fabulous food at decent prices. I think it was called Smokey Joes. There was also a food court which included some chain restaurants and there was a taco place called Roberto's where they prepared everything fresh to order. Again, great food at decent prices. There was a more formal restaurant, but we didn't try it. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and very helpful. Parking was free and the garage seemed safe. I will say that the neighborhood the property is in is definitely the hood, but the property itself is very safe, with good security.

I love the atmosphere of the hotel. The feel was great. The ambiance was calm and romantic but the laser show doesn't have a story to it and there is barely any laser activity. It is cool that you can look out of your room to watch it. However, the casino was not fun at all. We spent hundreds in there and barely even won $5 on any machine. The payouts are non existent and there isn't very much to do around the area. It's not convenient to the strip at all. One of the elevators didn't work. I tossed and turned in the bed all night. It's a decent family hotel but that is it.

Mr. Clean would be Proud!

Clean from Top to bottom, side to side. As someone who is a clean freak, it was refreshing to see a hotel that was not only in good repair but very clean. I always like when you walk into your room and it not only looks clean but smells clean. If I had to find fault, the mattresses was a little too hard for me. But my personal preference is a softer mattress. Kudos to the maintenance and cleaning staff!
