I like staying at South Point. No qualms with the amenities. However, the hotel implemented an early check-in fee recently and i was not made aware at the time of booking. This is nonsense. I would have cancelled if i had known there was a fee.

The rooms look a little outdated at least ours was. The hotel has a lot of different options to keep you busy but it’s tough with the strong smell of cigarettes that follow you pretty much all over the property. A big plus is free parking so you can come and go as you please if you have a rental. I also liked the 12pm check out. If you don’t want to leave your hotel and 10mins away from the strip, this is it

Nice Remodel of Rooms

The remodel of the rooms are nice,but they need to replace the mattresses, they are very worn out and lumpy. If the mattresses were replaced it would have been perfect!

Overall the accommodations were good. The negatives were as follows: They do not use fitted sheets so you would keep having to readjust them throughout the night, there was noise from renovations was a bit distracting (which is expected), the food was just ok. Food was over cooked (no we did not send it back), breakfast was ok, lunch was the best of the bunch. So, nothing to write home about but would go there again for convenience of everything all in the same place.
