The flat was quite nice and roomy and the location superb. The problems we had all related to support. The manual describing the various equipment in the flat in every case was for equipment different to what was there - so useless. Never could figure out the dryer. The thermostat on the wall was dead and after numerous calls to the service number a maintenance man showed up to turn the furnace on and point out that the thermostat on the was was in fact dead; but there was a good one on a shelf in a jumble of other electronics. I could go on. The front door stuck and when I pulled to open it the handle and entire electronic lock came off in my hand. The kitchen is well appointed except no spatula and no plunger. The sink filled and wouldn't drain right. It's too bad really cause it's a nice flat in a great location.

Excellent location but a few issues

On arrival the apartment was difficult to locate. The address was 67 Chiltern Street with entrance on Paddington Street beside The Temple of Coffee. Such an establishment doesn’t exist! We arrived in darkness and it took a while to find it. Steep stairs led up to the apartment so it’s unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues and difficult to manoeuvre suitcases. Furnishings were adequate and kitchen and bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished. Unfortunately the Property Manual was completely out of date. It referred to previous oven and washer/dryer and the towel rail in the bathroom was unable to be used. There were only 2 forks, one dinner, one a dessert fork; no hand towels; no tea towel. A fish slice and oven gloves would have been useful. Wall lights in the lounge were not working and the Venetian blind was broken. The location is excellent with a variety of shops and eateries close by.

Check in at 4pm is too steep if check out is by 10am. Bathroom shower had a broken head. Hot water was very limited. Smell of used mops in the flat.
