We stayed one night at Boutique Hotel KARL, the location is very convenient, by the river, near bus stops and minutes from restaurants, shops and two historical bridges. Breakfast had a nice selection of items, staff were very friendly and helpful. The musegg walls are close by and worth a visit. The room fits all four of us very well, our 2 sons had a separate room with 2 twin bed, the rooms are heated and have ceiling fans. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Make sure to get a room with a balcony overlooking the river - best reason to stay in this basic but nice hotel. Staff are sweet, breakfast is good, though we did have a moth infestation! There’s parking in rear suitable for tiny cars, public lot very close by for the rest. Minutes walk from central old town area and right near the tower and walk up to beautiful park and views

Breakfast was very good. Front desk staff was exceptional. But the hotel is very noisy. The maids start vacuuming the hallways at 7:30am and carry on VERY loud conversations outside your door, so if sleeping is a priority, I would recommend someplace quieter.

The location of the property was excellent, and our balcony room was very nice. We were a little surprised to discover that the hotel also functions as a hotel school with students currently in training. Providing this information ahead of time could be helpful for future guests. We also found the room’s key-lock system a little unusual, as locking the door from one side could potentially leave someone locked in or out, so additional explanation for guests may be helpful.

This property was great with a view over looking the river. Staff was helpful and sincere. Rooms are clean and spacious. I had a superior quadruple with balcony. I enjoyed it vey much. The only downfall is the many steps and the uneven cobble stone pathways that I had to endure carrying and pushing my luggage to get to hotel from train station. Best way is to uber to hotel from train station.
