The place was close to Down town but it was not clean. There were hairs on the pillows and stains on the towels.
By fixing these items, it would be a nice experience

Good for the price
We stayed one night and we were comfortable in the room. It was noisy (you can hear other rooms) but we always use white noise machines so this was not a problem. The bed was average for comfort. The staff was very friendly. The common areas left to be desired, need some work to make it more inviting.
The hotel’s location is a bit far from downtown Montreal, but it offers a glimpse into life outside tourist areas. The room was okay—though the bed was unstable and the bathroom not very clean. My first night was rough due to thin walls; I could hear guests checking in, noise from the lobby, and someone yelling on the phone at 3 a.m., which made it hard to rest after a long trip. The hotel’s architecture was nice, and housekeeping did make my bed daily.
Entry is by passcode, but the keypad failed often. One rainy evening, I struggled to get in for about five minutes before a receptionist let me in. She was rude and spoke to me in a condescending tone. I suspect it was because I had tried to pull the door in confusion. Afterward, she spoke in French to another employee and made fun of me, not knowing I understood since I went to French school.
I never got to try the continental breakfast—it was always gone before 9:30 a.m. Overall, if you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind a 15-minute walk to the metro and a 20-minute ride to downtown, this place could work. But next time, I’ll pay more for a more comfortable and welcoming stay.

Vacation
Clean hotel, friendly staff, however extremely small room, very small washroom specially the shower is so so small that I couldn't wash my self properly, parking is limited, free parking around the hotel only finally the breakfast could of been better, toaster wasn't working properly, warm but not hot coffee and limited hours for having breakfast.
The property is located in the suburbs with lots of drug addicts walking around. The facility itself has very thin walls, so we were told to be very quiet, even in our room.
The room had the slight smell of urine, which seemed to go away after opening the windows, but it was unclear where the smell was coming from.
The bed made our backs soar, thankfully we brought our own pillows.
Breakfast was as expected, some bread, fruits, pastries, and yogurt, nothing special.
The good part was that we could park our van on their property instead of on the street.
Only encountered two staff at desk. One spoke essentially no English. I accept I'm in Montreal and not much of an issue. Still, was nice to have assistance when available. No significant tourist sites nearby, but a metro stop is a 20 minute walk.
