This is our 4th visit here over the last 7 years. As a family we love it here as you can do as much or as little as you like, Clean and safe and older children can go off on their own. Very few minor probs which did not spoil holiday (1. Could not get any pool towels, asked 3 lots of staff @ hotel) 2.Food not quite so good @ dinner as the past 3 visits, too much burgers, some food not hot enough) Apart from that it is a lovely holiday destination.

Great family fun, 11 year old and 8 year old boys had a wonderful fun packed time. We sayed for seven nights. The cowboy themed hotel was fun, the rooms were cleaned everyday & were spotless. The piped country music outside was funny & the kids found themselves singing songs off by heart because they heard them so often! Half board was good value, it would have cost a fortune in the park everyday to feed everyone. Definitely get the express passes! saved us from queing in the heat of August. The worst queues were at reception, far too few people manning the desks. The park closes at 12pm, meant you could get to the park early and then go back to the hotel for a swim and lounge by the pool, dinner and then hit the park again. Ferrari land was great but you’d only spend a half day there & the waterpark was fine but a bit packed and overwhelming the day we went. We did a day on the beach in Salou and also a panoramic tour of Barcelona with Busplan which was a good whistle stop tour of all the sites in the city. We’d highly recommend PortAventura if a beach only holiday isn’t what you want.

Great Family Break
Pros:Grounds, direct access to theme park, pools, rooms, most of the food.
Cons:Lack of drinking water provided
We had previously stayed at a different PortAventura hotel- El Paso and took a lot of time deliberating about trying a different hotel. We were not disappointed, this is definitely of a 4* standard, we were on half board option this time which in the summer months I thoroughly recommend because we were constantly in and out of the park until midnight therefore being on all inclusive would have been a waste of money or meant that we stayed at the hotel and missed out on the theme park. The grounds were immaculate, the pools great, breakfast buffet was good, evening buffet mixed. I recommend utilising the a la carte restaurants in the theme park which can be booked by guest relations as they were great. The rooms were comfortable and a good standard for Spain. We went to the water park one day, if you don't buy express tickets then don't bother, its too busy in the summer. The express tickets for the theme park are absolutely worth the money for cutting down on queue times we'd definitely invest on the passes from the hotel again as it was great value as they were valid for the entire stay.
I will mention a minor negative, bottled water is not provided in the mini bar- for a 4* hotel I think this should be improved on, I appreciate that free drinking water is available in the restaurant but only accessible when the restaurant is open, I feel this should be available the whole time.

Sympathique établissement joli et propre seul point négatif la demi pension nourriture plus que ordinaire et le temps règlementé pour manger digne de l’armée dommage

Tolles Hotel. Schöner Pool. Es ist top das die Eintrittskarten für den Park enthalten simd. Auch der direkte Eingang vom Hotelgelände zum Park ist super.

Seul bémol par rapport au même séjour il y a deux ans : pas de kdo enfant ni de kit VIP comme annoncé.... et plus de mini bar rempli gracieusement ... mais ce sont des petits details!

Fabuleux!
Tout est de qualité: l'emplacement, les services offerts, les repas ,la propreté et la sécurité. Ajoutez à cela un personnel disponible et bienveillant envers les clients. Aucun bémol, même en cherchant bien!
