The location is perfect and gives you easy access to Brighton and Solitude. Itâs clean, organized and provides you all the necessities. Itâs more spacious than the pictures online show. The host did a great job staying in communication and was quick to respond. We left an Apple Watch which they quickly found and had it in the mail that day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Honeycomb House. The site was just where we needed to be and it was perfect for our extended family. The property manager was very responsive to questions and addressed one issue with the plumbing immediately. I wouldnât hesitate to stay here again.
A rate find at Solitude as it has four bedrooms and four baths. One room had two sets of bunk beds and was perfect for the kiddos. Fully stocked with so many dishes, pots and pans, all appliances coffee pot kuerig and traditional, blender, cookie sheets, etc. we cooked so we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again. Right in Solitude village and beautiful Mountain view.
Great place for two families! Slopes are walkable and not crowded and village is adorable. Definitely need a 4wheel drive car - and really only parking for one car even though it says two.
Laundry on site is great - and we loved the fireplace and the views. Overall, fantastic place for the price.
Great location for skiing and spending time with friends and family on the mountain.
The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of space for 2 families, easy walk to the lifts and community pool and hot tub.
Parking was a little tricky but works with one car that can park in the garage one car needing to park parallel in front of the garage.
We loved the location of this house! It was in the village so we had a short walk to restaurants, rentals, ski lift, and club solitude. Access to club solitude was easy and had great amenities. The house was well stocked with cozy linen and beds. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Instacart delivered the groceries and mountainsidesitters babysat the kids while we went down the slopes. The mountain was very kid friendly. The kids did a combination of ski school and babysitter (3 years old). Just a few lessons and they were coming down the green by themselves. Club solitude had an entire kid room with toys and games to make entertaining little kids/toddlers easy.
Property met our needs very well. There are a lot of steps involved. It is a long steep walk to the lifts and Solitude could have done a better job of scraping the driveway. I fell on some icy pavement walking down and twisted my ankle on the last day of our trip.
One of the best maintained properties we have ever rented
The home was immaculate, well maintained and well equipped. Everything worked perfectly. It was also a very easy walk to the village center and the Apex ski lift. We had rented a car but barely needed it, only to drop our youngest off at ski school in the morning. There was however also a shuttle that went there.
As a suggestion, when visiting Solitude (nothing to do with the home) make sure you go grocery shopping before you come up the valley. There really are no decent stores and limited evening restaurant options. Other than that the visit was great. Beautiful home, great skiing and extremely friendly people.
We really enjoyed staying at Honeycomb House while skiing at Solitude. It's just a short walk to the slopes (a bit of a steep climb on the return home but it is the mountains and it's short). Amenities were just what we needed and we really enjoyed the mountain and Solitude Village.
