Broken Plumbing and Customer Service

Upon returning to our room the day we checked in the toilet was out of service in our room. There was septic service underway at 10:00 pm so clearly an emergency. I went to the front desk to report the issue. Ramesh the manager referred me to the septic guy who said they were currently snaking the main line and that might resolve the issue. It did not. Septic guy came to snake the toilet, that didn’t fix the issue. I asked Ramesh if he had any solution, a different room, a bathroom we could use. Another plumber came to try to fix the toilet. I contacted Expedia to complain, Ramesh told them he would not offer any refund if we left. The work on the toilet continued until after midnight to no avail. It was broken and unusable. Ramesh eventually acquiesced to refunding me for the second night of our stay. I would tell anyone thinking of staying here to avoid it. Sure things break like pipes or plumbing but the terrible customer service and lack of accommodation is inexcusable

Great stay!

Was a great stay only thing is the window in the bathroom even though it was clouded with a privacy screen it stilled showed your shadow so if someone put there head close enough to the window they would be able to see something especially at night, so we had to keep the restroom door open to block the window. Other than that great stay! Super close to the beach!

Stayed here before and had a much better experience. Fridges never seem to work. Tried to stay one more night and they wanted 100 bucks over what was posted online. Feels like it changed hands from the last time we came.

Checkin process wasn’t with check in staff had to come back to give my card information shortly after getting to the room. Went to take a shower and the drain was clogged with water coming back up. I went to get help and nobody was there, called and no one picked up finally got a hold of someone and they said everything was fine and they’ll have someone take a look the next day but we were only staying the night. Shower still not working, I went to the front desk, different person again said he’d send someone shortly or while we went to dinner. nobody showed up, came back from dinner around 11PM, shower was still clogged. Their claim was they couldn’t come in because we were gone, nobody called even though they had my contact information. I asked if another room was available multiple times and they claimed the rooms that were open had reservations or weren’t clean after checkout. The individual from the front desk poured drano and had us wait 10 minutes, twice. He claimed he would give us a discount in the morning and note our account. When we went to checkout we explained the issue for the third time and the manager at the front desk was not helpful, wouldn’t offer any compensation. Started off with saying he can give us a free night, than said the weekend rate isn’t possible to discount (WE HAD PAID WEEKEND RATES). Started giving us different dates and saying ridiculous rates. Very rude and frustrating. ROOM 103

Super cute! Highly recommend

This was a super cute hotel! Each room is like a mini cabin. Super cute pool. Everything is updated and very clean. This is right across from free public access beach and centrally located on the island. All kinds of good and shopping is very close. Not sure why we had to pay $25/night for parking for an off season almost empty lot though.

The first room they put me in, the TV wasn't getting a signal. I called and the desk clerk came and looked at it, then moved me to a different room after checking that the TV in that room worked. He was apologetic and professional about it, even helped carry my bag. Both rooms were clean and neat, but had only two light sources outside the bathroom—hanging lamps over either side of the bed. Not enough light by any standard! And the 2nd room had a box of kleenex—which the 1st room didn't, so I wonder if it had been serviced properly before my arrival. All in all, it's a clean place in an out-of-the-way (meaning quiet, though I don't know about high summertime) location.

Perfect location

Very welcoming and friendly staff, spotless rooms, and great proximity to the beach. Dog friendly is a must for our family, so it’s always great to find a nice place that allows pets. We would definitely stay again.

Is a motel that has very limited up grades, no table or char to seat, you have to wait for the hot water at leas 5 minutes, the small refrigerator is barely enough for one bottle of water, i don't recommend it to any one looking for minimum confort
