Hotelito Azul was such a beautiful, zen experience â very natural, earthy, and tranquil. The food is organic and incredibly fresh, and the entire property has this unique, elevated âtreehouseâ feel with nature views everywhere you turn. You honestly barely need shoes; there are foot baths outside every suite, which feels so intentional and relaxing.
The location is perfect â close to all the great beach clubs and local attractions, and only about a 15â20 minute walk to Ven a la Luz. The blacked tacos at Olivia? Phenomenal. So fresh. Truly, all the food on-site is fantastic and aligned with the whole organic vibe.
Customer service was extremely friendly, pleasant, and multilingual â there were absolutely no English language barriers, which made the stay even smoother and more enjoyable.
The only recommendations Iâd offer: check-in communication could be improved. I didnât receive my check-in details until after I arrived, and you need a QR code to scan when entering the property. Without that code, you canât get in, so someone should be monitoring the entrance at all times. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes, but it looks like they were installing a Ring system during my stay, so this will likely be resolved soon.
Outside of that, the experience was amazing. The grounds are clean, safe, and truly one of the best beachfront stays in the area. And the rooftop? Spectacular. The sunsets from up there are breathtakingâŠwe sat there every evening just to take it all in.
