I had enjoyed my previous stay but this second stay was horrendous. I had arrived late after a day-long coast-to-coast travel, totally exhausted and out of sleep. I needed quality sleep for the few hours because I had day-long meetings the following day - the very reason I hade made the trip. Sadly and frustratingly, there were guests in 3-4 rooms next to me who had their TVs on the entire night. I complained to the manager on duty and although he went to the floor several times, this seemed to make little difference. At some stage I had to walk down to the reception because the staff on duty were not answering the phone. I got very little sleep and I truly struggled through my business meetings the next days.
Additionally, the TV in my room did not work from the first nigh and even though I reported this to the staff on duty the first night nothing was done and when I retuned from business meetings for the second night, nothing had been done. When I asked the staff on duty for assistance, he casually told me the maintenance staff had left for the day and there was nothing he could to assist me.
