Family-like warm atmosphere, makes you feel like at home only you don’t have to do anything apart from relaxing. Amazing breakfast buffet, great variety. Within a walking distance to train station and any ski stations.

Daniela in Zermatt

Pros: The friendly and helpful staff, free coffee and tea all day, comfortable beds.
Cons: Everything was up to standard for a 4star hotel.
Location: It was walking distance from the station.Free transport to and from hotel.The spa was closeby. There is a small supermarket nearby.
The hotel staff were extremely competent in giving us information on the first day. We had a view of the tip of the Matterhorn from our room which was exquisite each morning. The breakfast was more than adequate and the atmosphere typically Swiss. You realize how well the family Julen run the hotel because you see them working in different parts of the hotel. It was a treat to be able to relax at the pool and spa at the Julen Hotel. The restaurant at the Julen hotel was correctly priced and the meal was delicious. We would surely go back to Daniela.

GOOD ACCOMODATION

Perhaps more a great 3* than a 4* especially cause the bathroom is a little bit old fashion and bath products are not so great but except for this it's a very good accomodation. Breakfast is included in the price and it's a very good one: you can choose continental or european or both of them. Don't miss to taste hausbrot with salmon. Location is great, a few minutes walk from the cableway and really no more than two minutes from Banhoffstrass, the main road in Zermatt. Hotel Julen is really close and there you can use wellness centre.

Mit viele Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Hotel. Sehr gastfreundlich und nettes Personal. Alle Bahnen sind innert 10 Min. erreichbar Hatte noch nie eine Nespresso Kaffeemasche im Zimmer. Alle Getränk, Kaffee und alles aus dem Kühlschrank, konnten kostenfrei konsumiert werden. Von einigen Zimmern direkte Sicht aufs Matterhorn. Wir können das Hotel Danielas, das Restaurant Julen, sowie das Paparlap Pub sehr empfehlen. Wie haben uns äusserst wohl gefühlt. Martin Gerber
