The rooms were clean . The hotel’s location is ideal it has easy access to central Zurich. The Service received was great . The 2 guys who were at the reception whilst I was there were very helpful and friendly. Their names were Aman and Andreas.

Hotel was fine for what I was expecting. Man at counter was a bit eccentric and made my girlfriend slightly uncomfortable during conversation. However, as a tourist, I realized I needed a plug adaptor and they sold them in the lobby for 30 swiss francs. He informed me that the grocery store across the street sells them for less than 10 Swiss francs and to try there before spending 30 on the hotels. This was a kind gesture.

The staff here were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They had maps to give out and made sure to give us directions. The hotel is also dog friendly which is great when travelling with a dog. The hotel rooms were very clean and the other facilities were too. The only complaint I have is that the beds are very hard.

Near by transport was the only good thing. The man on reception (Andreas) was rude, unhelpful and sarcastic. We repeated had to ask for water glasses and the response we got was “there is no minibar in your room why do you need glasses?” I forgot my mum and I turned into reptiles and was able to drink the moisture from the air. The floorboards in the room above us were squeaking ALL night for the two nights we stayed here. We called the receptionist and he said there was no problem when in reality there was a child in the room above us running around from 6am. No apology. Nothing. No cutlery, no glasses, no toiletries. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you hate yourself, your partner or sleeping, book to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very conveniently situated near a tram line that connects you to the main station. Lots of great food options nearby. Unlike other reviews we found it to be quiet. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lift is working. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.

Avoid in Summer

Be very careful about staying here in the summer. Not only do they not have AC, they only have a heavy comforter. And you'll have to open up the windows and hear an extremely busy street that is very loud. Location is convenient, but good luck getting a good night's sleep if you stay here in the summer.

It is very reasonable priced. Bed is good and rooms are basic. There were multiple reception staff. One of them was particularly rude towards me. On the first encounter, he rudely asked my room number which I provided. On the second encounter he asked my room number again, which I provided. I got accused for providing him a different room number than the day before. He rudely insisted that I showed him my room key. That really ruined the last night.
