The hotel was very nice, clean and helpful, friendly staff. Close to the metro station and in front of the Hop On Hop Off stops, which made getting around the city easy. If you decide to walk for example to Monastiraki Square, area around the hotel felt unsafe at night.

Great location and views

Great location. Modern. Clean. Friendly staff. Seems to be busy with people on cruise ships ! 8 floors. All with balconies. Out balcony door broke however and they never came to fix it. Overall helpful staff tho. We had issues with flights and they were helpful. Decent free breakfast. Awesome rooftop pool and bar and views !

Shift leader who checked us in (around 1:15am) was rude and unaccommodating. Fortunately the bellman was kind and helped us with our room. The same shift leader checked us out 3 days later and treated us the same way. The hotel is located at an incredibly busy intersection and there is traffic, noise and sirens at all hours of the day and night. Hotel is 20-25 minutes away from the top sites in Athens and is not in a "fun" part of town. We had to Uber everywhere. Do not recommend and will definitely never stay here again.

Very easy walk to the hop on hop off buses and the Metro. Also lots of great little restaurants in the area. The rooftop restaurant and the pool were terrific with a great view of the Acropolis.

The customer service at The Stanley is top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful. We spent an evening at the rooftop pool and it was a nice way to start our vacation.

Room was clean, the breakfast was good friendly personal including main desk, but also the room air temperature ventilation wasn’t according whit warm inside the room it was like not air at all, that whole room stinks and I didn’t like the smell of the room with not air at all.

Unfortunately we had stayed at this hotel 54 yrs ago. The Stanley had a smell throughout the hotel was overpowering bad smell. We lost $633.00 because we couldn't stay another 2 nights we the bad neighborhood and smell. I'm disappointed in my selection of this hotel.
