Beautiful holiday villa with private swimming pool located on the hills surrounding Empoli and just 30 km away from Florence.
The villa has been finished to the highest standard and can sleep up to 10/12 guests. Outside there is a large garden housing a generously sized private swimming pool, as well as a welcoming porch and extensive terraces perfect for outdoor living.
The villa is perfectly located within easy reach of the most famous towns of the region such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa and Lucca. Empoli, which is just 1.8km away, also has a train station with regular connections to the other main cities of Tuscany. A secondary road passes near the property. One part of the house (the one near the entrance to the property and with its own separate entrance) is used as the owner's office.

At guests' disposal: large garden with private swimming pool (12m x 6m, minimum depth: 0,8m; maximum depth: 1,8m, open from the 15th of April until the 15th of October), outdoor shower (cold water), solarium and useful furnished porch (table, armchairs e sofa) accessible from all the lounges of the villa. Wi-fi internet connection (free of charge) and private parking are available. 2 baby cots are available; air conditioning available in the kitchen and in all bedrooms.

We stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. Each bedroom was very charming and comfortable— each with its own bathroom. The ACs worked great in the bedrooms and we really didn’t need to use the downstairs AC in the kitchen and it was mid August. The pool was amazing as well. Our one criticism was that showers and sinks in each bathroom did not drain very well and the shower in one bedroom didn’t seem to be sealed well at the bottom so the shower floor would fill up and sometimes leak out onto the tile floor. It may be an issue of old plumbing. I let the management know and they said they would look into it. Also, just FYI there are no separate pool towels for the villa other than the bathroom towels provided.But those were both minor things. I highly recommend this villa! Check-in and check-out was easy. Management was always quick to respond and communicate. You will love this place!

A good gathering place for ten

We used this villa as a landing spot for one week in Tuscany for ten adults. It allowed us to comfortably eat and gather together at the beginning and end of each day. The location was perfect to travel both by train and car. The outdoor space was great. The kitchen and accommodations are rustic and charming for a Tuscan villa. The bedroom and bath accommodations are also somewhat rustic but comfortable enough for a busy week of touring Tuscany. The outside space is fantastic and we also enjoyed the pool table for evening games. Our contacts that managed the house were very helpful and attentive to our feedback and the house was very clean when we arrived. Thank you. We had a wonderful week.

Villa interior a disappointment

The house is spacious, and easily accommodated our party of 10. The interior does not show as well as it does in the online photos. Our main complaint was insufficient electrical service to the house, which caused a shutdown if too many electrical appliances were being run at once. This was especially true of the air conditioning. The outdoor areas were excellent, and we enjoyed extensive use of the swimming pool and covered dining alcove. The staff was responsive and accommodating.

Great family vacation!

Great location from which to explore the most famous towns in Tuscany; no more than an hour to Siena, Volterra, and Pisa, less than an hour to San Gimignano and Lucca! Kids loved the walks in the hills just beyond the villa, not to mention the fabulous pool. Great wine tasting within walking distance.

Winter Get-A-Way

Our overall impression was excellent. There were a few glitches with the heat and the dishwasher. The property manager worked hard to resolve these issues but they did dampen our experience unfortunately. Luckily we were all good sports about it. It would have been nice to have had an apology and acknowledgement from the owner and rental service.

Great place to stay in Tuscany

Everything was as promised. The photos are exactly what you get. We were a party of six adults and the accommodation was perfect for us. Everyone had their own room with ensuite. The living rooms were ample and comfortable. Pool was great and the outdoor areas brilliant. If a couple of things didn't work it hardly mattered as they were beyond what we expected anyway, and they'll probably be fixed by the time anyone else gets there. Posarelli Villas (property managers) are terrific and nothing was too much trouble for them - advice on local wineries, restaurants, where to find beaches. They even organised a chef to come in and cook dinner for us all - which was FABULOUS! The owner lives next door but he was fine. Available if needed (for emergencies - of which there were none) but kept away otherwise. We would highly recommend the villa for its ample accommodation, service and great location. Easy access to Florence (park at the station in Empoli and take the train), Tuscan hill towns (Sienna, San Gimignano, Volterra, San Miniato etc), tourist destinations (Pisa, Lucca, Vinci, Collodi) all within about an hours picturesque drive, local shops (Coop in Pozzale you can walk to, Casenuove or Empoli) and restaurants (try Sciabolino in Casenuove 10 mins away for the very best Bistecca alla Fiorentina or Ritrovino in Villanuova 10 mins the other way for genuine Tuscan specalities and great atmosphere). And don't let anyone tell you "Empoli is 'orrible"; Italians have a thing about it, but we thought it was lovely.

Traumhafte große Villa

Wir waren zu 8. Platz ohne Ende. Aussenbereich groß mit Küche. Pool etwas erhöht und perfekt gelegen. Bis auf die Straßenseite ein ruhiges Anwesen. Kleiner COOP Markt in 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Haus ist wirklich schön. Mit Outdoor Küche, Pizzasteinofen, Grill & einem schönen großen Pool. Die Lage ist auch gut, nicht zu weit nach Pisa Florenz oder Empoli
