"Our stay at Schlosshotel Fuschl was pleasant, but it fell far short of the high expectations set by the exorbitant prices. The first and most glaring issue is the lack of language training for the staff. A significant portion of the personnel does not speak German, which is surprising for a luxury hotel in Austria. While it’s not an issue for seasoned travelers who also speak English, many staff members struggle with even basic English – an unacceptable shortcoming for a hotel of this category. The hotel itself is not bad: many design elements are well thought out and visually appealing. However, a closer look reveals issues such as dust under carpets, heavily calcified showerheads, and other signs of cost-cutting that undermine the luxury experience. Compared to similar establishments in Bavaria, such as Elmau or those at Tegernsee, the Schlosshotel lacks warmth and the higher standard of quality one might expect. The atmosphere feels less personal, likely due to its affiliation with an international hotel chain. The majority of guests were from China and the USA, a clientele for whom the price-to-quality ratio might seem less critical. In summary, while our stay had a few bright moments, it was overshadowed by significant flaws. The prices charged are simply not justified by the overall experience."

"Wir hatten für 6 Übernachtungen in Salzburg im arte Hotel ein Zimmer der Kategorie "Studio original high, Stadtblick" gebucht, und waren mit diesem Zimmer äußerst zufrieden! Das Zimmer war angenehm geräumig und hatte dank der Lage (Eckzimmer im 13. Stock) und der an zwei Seiten des Zimmers vorhandenen bodentiefen Fenster einen wirklich tollen Blick über die Stadt! Sehr angenehm war auch, dass das Zimmer angenehm ruhig war, obwohl das Hotel fast direkt am Hauptbahnhof steht. Von dem Bahnhofsgeräuschen und den Straßengeräuschen hat man bei uns im Zimmer jedenfalls überhaupt nichts gehört. An der Sauberkeit des Zimmers und des Hotels insgesamt gab es nichts auszusetzen, und das Personal mit dem wir zu tun hatten war immer freundlich. Ein echtes Highlight des Hotels ist der Raum in dem das Frühstück angeboten wird, mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge, die Altstadt und die Burg. Das Frühstück selbst entsprach auch dem erwarteten Standard eines Hotels dieser Kategorie, und es wurde regelmäßig bei den Speisen nachgelegt. Insgesamt waren es 6 sehr angenehme Übernachtungen im arte Hotel und wir können dieses Hotel ohne Einschränkung empfehlen."
