Additional fees make this not worth the price

The hotel is close to the beach but at the far end of Waikiki. Two of the hotel staff, Lesley and Nicole, were incredibly helpful and kind and made our stay very nice. However, this is a pricey hotel, with a “resort fee” of $45/night, and if you have a rental car, parking will be $55/night. So the total for us was an additional $100 more per night. For a mediocre hotel, $350 night is quite a lot. But that’s Waikiki!

It's closer to seaside, stores, downtown verygood location. So far our stay is fine except the elevator are very slow and you have to wait longer.

It was not disclosed that if you have a reservation you may not have a parking spot and have to find your own. Front desk was very rude about it. Valet asked my husband to drive around the block and did not offer to help get luggage out first. Very poor experience.

Billing was confusing , and I was not offered a printed receipt, I had to ask for a receipt and an explanation of charges. Room was clean but small. I paid extra for a room with a view. I got a view but it wasn’t much. The breakfast was good but the seating situation is poor, and you have to chase the birds away constantly, or they steal you food or worse one lady next to us had her food pooped into

I don’t think this hotel is Hyatt status. I have a Platinum status with Expedia they don’t really give attention to that. The breakfast is a joke. Pretty much no choice at breakfast and you gtt et to eat your breakfast on tables under the rain or the sun, no shades. They could do better that’s for sure.

It is in walking distance to the zoo and the beach. The hotel offers beach towels and chairs. The hotel is very clean. The hotel offers parking but it is very limited. The parking garages are in walking distance .

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and bar were small but good. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys you could borrow (first come first serve. The breakfast was very busy and crowded, but the staff do an amazing job keeping it clean and stocked. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious!! The pool was closed for remodel (stayed in April so I guess the off season), but it looked decent…pretty standard. The best part was how close it was to the beach and all the restaurants and stuff to do.

Good place to stay

Great location and in walking distance of anything you might want to do or for anything that you might need. Really enjoyed staying here. Easy transportation to anywhere you wanted to go. This was the first time here that we did not rent a car. Public bus system was not friendly to tourists but the trolleys were and fun to ride
