Really nice hotel in istanbul

This is a lovely small hotel where the service is very personalized and the staff is very dedicated. We loved our experience and we recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Adamar Hotel outshines other hotels in the area for value for money. It is very convenient within 10 mins walking distance to Hagia Sophia, the blue mosque and the grand bazaar. Superb restaurants nearby and close to trams. Downsides are rooms are small and the proximity to the mosques means sometimes being woken up by calls to prayers. However it’s very clean, amenities are good and staff very friendly.

This is a very comfortable hotel at a perfect place. The staff was extraordinarily forthcoming and pleasant. The hotel was a breakfast room with windows on all sides, with a terrific view of all tourist attractions. There is a terrace restaurant above it with an even more spectacular view. The food was reasonably good although not outstanding. We lived this hotel and would go there again any time. Good value as well.

Right in the heart of Sultanhamet but still no problem with noise. BReakfast on the roof terrace was lovely but most of all the helpfulness of the reception staff which was exceptional.

5 Stars – Exceptional Anniversary Stay at Adamar Hotel, Istanbul My wife and I were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and spent a night at the Adamar Hotel after disembarking from a cruise. Our experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We arrived early, around 8:00 AM, for an 8:30 AM tour. Though check-in wasn’t until later, the manager warmly welcomed us, held our bags, and made sure everything was taken care of while we went on our tour. When we returned around 4:00 PM, the afternoon manager gave us Room 502 — it was excellent — and had all our bags already delivered to the room. He also took care of adjusting our airport pickup time to 4:00 AM the next morning, saving us the stress of having to deal with it ourselves. That evening, we had dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The view is breathtaking, overlooking the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Bosphorus. Watching the sunset over Istanbul and the city lights come alive as we dined at 6:30 PM made for a lasting memory. To top it off, the staff surprised us with slices of baklava and a Happy Anniversary song — such a thoughtful and touching gesture! Then came a travel hiccup: at 3:30 AM, we received a message from British Airways that our IST–LHR flight had been cancelled and rebooked for two days later. I went downstairs in a bit of a panic while my wife was on the phone with BA. The midnight manager was incredibly kind and helpful — he sp

- Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. - Fantastic location (less than 5 min walk to Sultanahmet square and amongst many shops). - Rooms were modern (no vibrant colours or decor which was great). - Breakfast was lovely. - Can hear the noise from outside, quite a busy road. Didn’t bother us but anyone sensitive to noise may not like it. - 1/3 of the bedrooms we booked had a drain issue causing an awful smell. Staff cleaned it everyday but the smell stayed throughout. - 1/3 of the bathroom fans were not working/on causing smells too. - Lift is very small and slow.

Awesome place to stay in Istanbul old town. The 6th floor and roof are restaurant. You could see Temple and Sophia and seaside skyline from the restaurant. It is the best spot to see from the city. The

The location was fantastic. An easy 10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Breakfast buffet in the terrace restaurant was good. We enjoyed a lovely sunset dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent, they price was reasonable with a 15 percent hotel stay discount, and the view was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the largest family suite available which was adequate but not as spacious as we had hoped. An all around, it was a good experience.
