"Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgewohnt und nicht mehr auf einem mit guten Hyatt Place vergleichbaren Stand. Das gilt auch für das angebotene Frühstück. Wegen der Lage weit außerhalb von Birmingham geht das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nur eingeschränkt in Ordnung."

Sonesta ES Suites Birmingham Homewood

"Wir hatten die Suite für zwei Übernachtungen gebucht und es war sehr gemütlich. Die Möbel sind zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war alles sauber. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Kostenlose Parkplätze standen direkt am Hotel ausreichend zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war halt typisch kontinental, aber wir sind satt geworden.
Das einzige, was leider nicht funktioniert hat war die Benutzung der Waschmaschine und des Trockners. Es war nicht möglich eine Bezahlung abzuschließen. Weder das Scannen des QR-Codes oder die extra herunter geladene App für die Nutzung beider Geräte, mit sogar extra angelegtem Account, haben funktioniert. Zur Auswahl stand die Bezahlung mit Kreditkarte oder Google Pay/Apple Pay. Egal welche Kreditkarten wir eingegeben hatten (4 verschiedene), alle wurden abgelehnt. Auch die Bezahlung via Google Pay wurde abgelehnt.
Da wir uns auf einem Roadtrip befanden ist es natürlich ungünstig, wenn der "eingeplante Waschtag" ausfällt. "
