- Unit is on the fourth floor. After skiing all day walking up 4 flights of steps can be punishing-especially if you're carrying any equipment. - The parking lot was an unpaved mud bog! The Jacuzzi and pool and common room were across the other side of the parking lot, requiring your best mud boots to accomplish. Therefore we didnât utilize at all!-advertisement says the unit sleeps eight but they donât allow you to have more than one car. We had three people, two cars. Having to leave my car in an offsite parking lot thatâs unguarded. I was worried it couldâve been vandalized or stolen. There were at least 20 open parking spaces, many right in front of the unit we stayed in. Annoying. - Nightlife (Apres Ski) is scattered and lacking overall. Just a comment in general. - check out instructions included having to take all the trash to a dumpster across the parking lot? Wouldnât that be the cleaning womanâs job? I crossed the mud bog and did it but Iâm the customer not the help!- Summary - the unit was not worth the money in comparison to the Jordan hotel up the street. It was just basically a two bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of a gigantic building. Felt this significantly over represented.
Great stay at Sunday River. Condos could not be better located. Everything you need. Owners love and care for the location and ski culture. Managing company for rentals excellent. Seamless arrival and departure. Ski home!!! We love Sunday River and we will be back!
We had a great time as a family and with close friends. The property is tidy. Itâs getting tricky to find enough snow in New England, even in Maine. What skiing we were able to do was fun and surprisingly well groomed. No ice!
Due to a change in plans , we had to leave the afternoon before the official check out of a three night stay. This unit is on the 4th floor facing on the away side of the ski mountain. Itâs a 4 floor walk up. They have modernized most of the electronics and all appliances are relatively new. Small kitchen but well equipped. Walk distance about 500 ft to ski access trail to lift. We did not have a chance to try the pool / hot tub building.
