Needs attention

Outside pool area needed attention. Hot tub wasn’t working for the whole stay ( no heat, water was cooler than the pool) and hotel umbrella wasn’t secured in it holder and flew out into the pool on top of us. Food wasn’t available outside.

Lobby seems renovated but the rooms you can tell are run down, elevators. You can hear much of what’s happening in the hallways from the room. Parkings pricey normally $25 this is $33 it’s posted so wasn’t a surprise but for the hotel hmm lots to say. Locations is across universal entrance if interested.

The hotel needs to replace all the carpets in the rooms. They are dirty, and the shower curtain has mold. Also, my room wasn’t ready at 4 p.m. to check in, so I had to wait, and the front desk lady was very rude.

The actual property was nice and the service was great! I also loved how close it is to Universal Studios. Just a short Uber drive away. There was plenty of parking and the parking lot is secured and your room key gets you in so I felt safe parking my car there. I did have some trouble with my key not working on opening the gate a couple times but just rang the bell and the parking attendant was quick to open the gate. The only complaint I had was the shower in my room seemed to either be too hot or too cold but I couldn't find a medium heat balance. The over all area is nice! I would definitely recommend staying here!
