Lovely staff, great hotel overall we just would have preferred a few changes - a table service restaurant rather than a ‘canteen’ style diner, and in the room there were no slippers or shower gel (just soap). The beds were also quite uncomfortable. Great location and service overall though

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It is super clean, customer service is excellent, everything was convenient. I love the bowling and arcade. I loved the swimming pools and hot tub. The food was pretty good. They have a car rental there if needed and shuttles. I really loved this place.

Decided to have a mini family vacation to celebrate my son’s 5th birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After mentioning to the staff that we were celebrating his birthday, the response we received was “So what do you want to do?” We were not asking for anything free we just hoped they would help make the day feel special like Disney did last year for his 4th birthday. Eventually the front desk offered two arcade tickets and free ice cream and I will say the ice cream staff were wonderful. While waiting for our room, we went to the pool and lazy river. Sadly, the pools were dirty with multiple dead frogs and insects floating around. The lifeguards and pool staff did not seem friendly or welcoming and looked like they wanted to be anywhere else. Dining was also disappointing. The food was poor and I actually got sick my first night. The night staff at the restaurant were unfriendly as well. The bowling alley was the one bright spot. Franco was an absolute sweetheart and the only staff member who stood out as genuinely kind. Our room was another letdown. Since it was my son’s birthday, I expected at least a little extra magic but instead we were placed in Tower 8 on the 6th floor. It was extremely loud and nothing about the stay felt special. I regretted my stay and should have chosen one of the newer hotels since we only went to Epic Universe. I guess we were just used to the Disney magic and thought that Universal could make the same.
