This condo is in a great location. You can walk to most everything. The hop on hop off buses are about two blocks away. Lots of things to see were walkable. While there were homeless people in the area, no one approached us and it is not a super isolated area. We just always came and went as a pair or group. I would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed ur stay, comparing to other VRBO's we have stayed in- some opportunities would be- have a supply of paper towels- more than one dishtowel-more than one bath towel/ bed when people are staying multiple nights, clean the windows- overall cleanliness subpar with cabinets needing work- furniture/wood- damaged-walls banged up and soiled. Having said that- the location was excellent-close to many historic sites and great restaurants. Others have commented on the noise- well, you are in a city and there will be trucks-garbage pickup etc- so be prepared with ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Listed as a million dollar space- it is- but the furnishings and supplies in the apartment are not. Bit of delays and unanswered questions with bespoke managerial company.
This is a great property located in the tourist district of Philly. It's within walking distance from the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall and lots of places to eat.The management company was easy to communicate with and worked with out schedule!I highly recommend this property!
The location of this place is amazing. 3 parks just a few blocks away, historic sites, restaurants. The responsiveness was also very good to property manager resolving issues quickly. Parking which is included only a block away. Felt very safe walking around
The propertyâs has a great location and in general very well done. A lot of space! Nicely decorated! The downside is quite a lot of small issues. Kitchenware is probably the weakest item of the whole property. I would strongly recommend the owner to review what they have at the kitchen. Bottle opener is broken, pots have the damaged bottom, knives and forks seem to be grabbed from multiple different places. Spend 200 on these things and the impression will be totally different. Also towel holder in the bathroom and the shower regulator require attention.I donât want to be misunderstood, the property is great! But those small items are easily fixable if someone cares.
This apartment was beautifully decorated easy to access in the parking pass was added, plus. It was very clean and the bedrooms were spacious; and we really appreciated the showers in the bathroom bathrooms they were so roomy, and the bathrooms are updated and very pleasing to the eye, as well as very nice to use. The location of the apartment for sightseeing around Philadelphia is absolutely perfect. You could not ask for anything better. Also, there is a wonderful boars head deli shop that we ate at every morning and a chocolate candy store that has the best chocolate I have ever tasted and it's made downstairs under the store. Also, there's a coffee shop right next-door to the apartments that I bought coffee in every morning before leaving out to tour the city. It was delicious.I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Philadelphia and sightsee because it is so nicely located with all these nice things around it. There's even restaurants right at it.This is a hidden gym and we would definitely stay there on our next visit to Philadelphia
We had a great experience at this location. We easily walked to the liberty bell and to Redding terminal. We hosted a family get together to celebrate my grandmotherâs 90th birthday and there was plenty of room for everyone and very convenient location for local family. We didnât have enough washcloths at check-in and only 1 roll of paper towels and as soon as we requested additional items, they were provided. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again.
We were in town for a graduation, could easily walk to the Convention Center and avoided all of the traffic. Centrally located, easy access to restaurants and anything else that we needed. Communication with host was great, We plan on staying here again.
5 old high school friends got together for a 3 night stay! Had so much fun. The condo was conveniently located, esp for the hop on/off bus, which we used for a 2 day pass. We quickly learned our way around and felt very safe, in the neighborhood, as well as in the condo. There was plenty of room for sleeping and congregating. Great place and fun vacation!
We enjoyed our stay (2 nights) at this beautiful home. The location was great and the parking garage is very convenient to the unit. Communication with the host was very good.
We had a great stay - the apartment was in the perfect location for us to walk to different destinations around the city and the perfect place for us to return to at night to collapse after all our walking! Wish we could have stayed longer.
We decided to travel to Philly for our kids spring break to visit friends. This was a lovely, spacious home base that was centrally located to sites and our nice neighborhoods. Parks in the area were plentiful and the setup was great for our family of five.
My husband some meetings in the city so we all tagged along to explore. This place was wonderful all of us enjoyed how open it was and the kids found it so amazing that the elevator opened right into our rental. Its location is great for exploring the city on foot. So many great restaurants on the same block as we as historica sites just a short walk away. We had to bring our dog last minute and the host was very understanding and added her tonour stay no problem. Washington square is 2 blocks away and there are a few dog parks in the area that are just a little longer walk.
Start with the positive - the location near historic sites is excellent and the space itself was great. Supplies (cooking gear, towels) were adequate The not positive - a dance studio below playing thumping music (we were on the second floor) which was not in the listing description, the daily garbage trucks waking us at 5-5:30am every day. Mattresses were really firm and the place is pretty beat-up - needs a paint job and refinishing. Frustrating to only have 4 dinner table chairs and one couch for a space that is advertised to sleep 5 (which is how many we had) - made it uncomfortable for all of us to have dinner or sit together in the living room.
I was so delighted to see how close to everything this place was ! I had appointments and surgery at Wills Eye which was 2 blocks away. There are numerous restaurants right there and a chocolate shop in the same building ! Content get much better ! The place was very clean and comfortable. The only wish I had was for maybe coffee to make because we didnât bring any. I will hopefully be able to stay here again when. I come come back in May
