The lifeguards literally stalked and harassed us about vaping which was unfortunate, especially while hanging out by the pool bar. The drinks were not strong. No matter how well we tipped the service never got any better. Overall had a great time with friends and made the best of it. It was convenient to book excursions through the resort and felt very safe on and off the property. The food was decent especially if you get stuff made in front of you. I definitely won’t be returning.

First, the good stuff. The coffee is amazing, it's especially nice after a good meal without a $200 check to pay after. La Bruschetta and Aroma were my favorite. All presentation is elegant, even the buffet. I went with my best friends and we were sharing our plates and drinks the whole week so we could try without wasting. To avoid missing out, be prepared with a plan and make reservations as soon as you arrive. This was my first adults only all-inclusive experience and it was awesome. With our son, we did water parks, cruises or lodges, and I hadn't realized how awfully chaotic those places were. I'm bot Not so much because of the kids, but the noise, crowds, junk to buy etc. This truly was a peaceful getaway, like walking on the paths near the sports center or even through the lobby or concierge area, it's especially nice if/when you're recovering from a hangover. There's plenty of party atmosphere too, which I also thoroughly enjoyed, and the amount of alcohol they freely hand out is staggering. I didn't noticed anyone getting rowdy, plastered, or inappropriate. Which is nice because we were traveling without our husbands and I was worried about safety in general. We felt perfectly safe once we got in the resort, as the gate security isn't just there for show. They make sure everyone who enters belongs there, they want to know if you leave and when to expect your return. The bad is that it's worn, and not everything worked in our room, bad light also.

Do not go if on a honeymoon, it’s more geared towards spring break type crowd. Food is decent …activities at pool end at 5 pm. After dinner there isn’t much going on , the entertainment is subpar and boring. Beaches not accessible due to the horrible sargassum seaweed which is not the resorts fault but they need more activities during the day and evening. Some of the staff were polite but the majority of them seem bothered by anything. The mini bar In our room was never replenished with the liquor we drank, only the soda. The gym was very outdated and subpar, we used it every day anyway but kind of had no choice. The best part of the resort was the spa and their staff.

Be aware this is a reporting Mexico. You are way better off if you speak Spanish. Check in was difficult at bast because I don’t speak Spanish. The explanation of restaurants, closures, etc. was not clear at all. Lots of construction. Lots of things closed. Beach is not available and they aren’t really trying to clear the seaweed. There are some bright spots but a lot more confusion than good things.

We liked the modern look of the property, the abundant wildlife (iguanas, deer, birds, etc.). The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Our room was very clean, and it had all the usual amenities, such as an iron and a scale to weigh your luggage upon departure. The entertainment was excellent, featuring a variety of activities. We had access to one of the sister properties, which opened up opportunities for additional dining options. They did have some vegan options at the buffet, but there could have been more choices at the restaurants. There was a very distinct difference between the adults-only and family properties. There were regular shuttles, $ 5 per person, to Playa Del Carmen's 5th Avenue shops. Overall, we had a great stay.
