The Carlisle is consistently awesome everytime! We only stay there when we visit Sarasota. It is clean, staff is amazing, we love the suite option that has a washer and dryer in room! Breakfast, cookies in afternoon are a fun treat. I could go on and on! Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at the Carlisle Inn! Staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful. The entire property was light, bright, and clean. Our room was simple, but well appointed. The nearby amenities including the Der Dutchman were the cherry on top. We will definitely stay at the Carlisle again the next time we are in Sarasota.

The hotel is nothing fancy but has large, clean rooms, pool, gym facilities, and a helpful support staff. There is a large affiliated restaurant on the property complex called the Der Dutchman which has simple but relatively inexpensive food. Both the hotel and restaurant as well as the strip mall are owned by an Amish group from Ohio.

Great Hotel in Sarasota! Beautiful, clean, free cookies 4-8pm, Der Dutchman next door. Pool was great with hot tub. Big rooms, and close to the beaches and malls!
