From the moment we checked in we were impressed by the Hotel Josefhof the ambience was warm and welcoming as was the check in process. Rooms were comfortable and well proportioned a little warm at times but not uncomfortably so. Nathan in the bar gave us some great tips and assistance to help us plan our stay. The hotel has no restaurant for evening meals but there are loads of choices nearby. The hotel is in a quiet street but within 5 minutes you are in the city centre. Check out was smooth with Anna being very affordable and helpful. Would definitely stay again 😊

So pleased we picked this hotel for our Vienna 8 night stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff at reception. All the staff we encountered, from reception to the people working the breakfast shift, to the house clearing staff were happy and friendly. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was king sized and very comfortable. Our room was very clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was AMAZING. The best we encountered in all our month long European trip - and one of the best we have ever encountered in our world travels (close second to the breakfast at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong). Location wise, a short walk around the corner finds you at a tram stop to see the around Vienna (the tram system is fantastic in Vienna). But even if you don't want to use the tram, many interesting sites are still walkable. From the hotel, there are many dining options close by and a supermarket very close as well. We took a taxi from airport to the hotel... that was about 65 euro. Then taxi to the train station was about 19 euro. One small point of feedback - if they just placed a couple of extra hooks in the bathroom, and a shelf to place our toiletry bags, it would make one's stay even better!
