Lovely hotel in great city center location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool and rooftop spa were amazing. Complementary bottle of prosecco delivered to the room for our birthdays was a lovely touch. Would recommend and will be back.

Amazing hotel , breakfast was lovely staff were really helpful and of course location is perfect. Took one star of for an annoying hum we could hear in our room due to air conditioning on the roof I think we were told. We only stayed one night or I think I would of had to insisted on another room

Having booked a deluxe room I was disappointed to find that the promised view of Edinburgh castle was compromised by a ghastly marquee which filled the whole of Festival Square and that there was a 10 day pop up cocktail event which entailed noisy music from mid afternoon till nearly 11pm which spoiled what we hoped was going to be a restful break for our 3 night stay. Our final morning before check-out was ruined by a very long wait in A queue for breakfast and having to give up and go elsewhere. The staff seemed unable to cope with the numbers of people waiting which was annoying particularly as there was a number of tables empty but no one dealing with the people who had been requested to wait. It was a big disappointment and. I would have thought a hotel of this standing should have managed the situation better.
