Beautiful hotel in centrally located Lisbon, with added plus of being on flat part of town. Staff were extremely attentive and polite! Lots of shops nearby, easy to get to excellent restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. Would happily stay here again and again!!!

Hotel location is excellent & very clean. The elevator & hallway to the rooms are very very dark. Didn't like that anyone can use the elevator wether a guest or not! Do not book the smaller rooms they are beyond small. Nowhere to keep your suitcase. Not sure if I'd stay here again due to that fact if we couldn't get a larger room.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Brown's Central! Like the name says, it's centrally located in the heart of Lisbon so if you don't like crowds and tourists, this may not be for you. The rooms are very modern and well-appointed, although I did struggle with the A/C, and my TV didn't work. The front desk quickly helped me with the former, and I ignored the latter. I asked for a quiet room, which might explain why I was at the very end of a long hallway in a TINY room with barely enough walking space around the bed and into the bathroom. Definitely not big enough for 2 people, but fine for me. The staff were lovely, the restaurant and bar were very popular, the food was tasty. I would definitely stay here again!

They have a great bar/lounge area. Really in the heart of old Lisbon so it is very walkable, lots of restaurants, cafes etc around. Staff was helpful. Room was a bit small, no view but clean and quiet!

Lovely stay at The Browns Central

Beautiful Boutique hotel in Baixa. Located near many sites and easy uber pick up on the corner if needed. Our suite was gorgeous and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The bar served up yummy cocktails and the buffet breakfast on our last morning had many nice choices.

Poor service

Location of the hotel is great and the rooms and bar were really lovely. The things that let it down were the staff. I went to the bar twice and on both occasions was ignored. I had to ask for another drink etc. On one of the occasions I asked to see the menu and then was left for 20 minutes, noone came to see if I wanted toy order. The food came, and this was poor too, but nobody came to check to see if it was ok. Once I had finished, numerous members of staff walked by and didn't take the plate or ask if I wanted anything else. Really poor for what is supposed to be an upmarket hotel.
