We were really excited to visit since a family member visited 3 years ago and loved it but we unfortunately didn’t share the same experience. The property has a lot of foliage and a lot of still water around creating a Mosquito breeding ground. We were being eaten alive. Some areas had a strong garbage smell and overall the food wasn’t great. Our Room was nice and our Concierge Jhonny took great care of us. Shout out to the bartender Luciano and Ana, Grill cook Roberlito who treated us like family!

We stayed at the resort from September 3rd to the 4th and had an overall positive experience. As a pleasant surprise upon arrival, we received a complimentary room upgrade for being Expedia members, which was a fantastic way to start our trip. The food quality varied. We really enjoyed our dinners at the à la carte restaurants that required a reservation; the meals there were very good. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide and delicious selection each morning. However, we found the lunch buffet to be quite disappointing and not up to the same standard. For the most part, the staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The only small issue we encountered was with the staff at the juice station during breakfast, who weren't particularly friendly and could have smiled more. A major plus was that the hotel allowed us to have a late check-out at no extra cost, which we really appreciated as it was another benefit of our Expedia booking. All in all, it was a good stay, and we were very pleased with the special treatment for booking through Expedia.

Resort has to step it up regarding food. Variety not good and quality either especially in the restaurants. Also, really needs to take control of the amount of vendors on the beach! You can relax without being bombarded by vendors.

The cleanliness of the common areas and gardens is excellent; everything is very well presented. The room cleaning service, however, could be improved, as it did not fully meet our expectations. The restaurants at the resort are excellent; the food and atmosphere were great. While we felt that most of the staff were not very friendly and seemed uninterested in providing good service, we would like to highlight a few exceptional employees who truly made a difference. Mitchel, our butler, and Ramon, the waiter at the Riviera restaurant, provided outstanding and attentive service and helped make our stay much more enjoyable. Overall, the resort has great potential, with beautiful grounds and delicious dining options, and with a little improvement in room cleaning and customer service, it could be an even more amazing experience.

We stayed at the Amelia for eight days in August. The beach was horrible. It was all dirty full of seaweed. It didn’t look like a Caribbean ocean should look like you cannot make reservations for any of their four restaurants prior to getting there the day of they’re already closed for reservations And when you tried the very next day, they were all booked, but the only two restaurants that were available where the hibachi or the steakhouse because you had to pay for them they were not included in the all-inclusive package, which they don’t tell you till you get there and it was $58 ahead. The buffets were nice. The food was not all that great. They didn’t have anything for kids to eat who would not have or carry in a Caribbean please plantains or french fries or chicken nuggets. The lobby was beautiful. The entertainment was great. The bathrooms were clean. The rooms were a bit outdated TV didn’t work for the first two days and the people we traveled with had to move twice definitely not a 4.7 star hotel like Expedia put out. I would not stay there or recommended if you are going on a family vacation and definitely have children and if you would like me the loves the ocean that was the ocean to go into
