Beds were great, breakfast was great, staff great. In the stairwells and hallways there was an awful smell all the time- maybe from the kitchen? It was awful and all my clothes stink like it now. Otherwise- great place! Such a good vibe and so convenient having Le Kock and donuts downstairs!

I’d stay here again

Quirky, clean, well-designed and relaxing hotel. Reception staff were great, beds were comfortable, location was handy. The bar, bakery and restaurant downstairs were all brilliant too (as evidenced by the queues of locals).

The hotel has a fabulous coffee shop in it. I had one of the best cups of cappuccino that i've ever had. I liked the moody vibe to the hotel rooms. And was able to get a good night's sleep. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk went out of their way to be helpful.

Frist night we we given room 104 (I think). It was not very clean and people were walking around at our level directly outside our window, smoking and talking and listening to music. Noisy trash barrel pick up at 5am. Then the worst... about 1am fish frying smell filled the room. Almost unbearable. We got another room on the 4th floor next day which was fine. BUT...YOU GAVE US NO DAILY CLEANING, TRASH CAN EMPTYING, BED MAKING...NOTHING....ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSEKEEPING FOR 5 DAYS! WE HAD TO GO GET COFFEE, CLEAN GLASSES, TP, TISSUES. VERY POOR HOUSEKEEPING ...ACTUALLY NONE!
