Asked for a room close to a lift certainly got that but the room was very small and the bed uncomfortable. No Hot water for a morning shower and only one comfortable chair to sit on. There were two bath robes in the wardrobe but extremely small and far from soft they had definitely seen better days. The breakfast room was very hot and crowded we were placed next to a window and the sill was filthy it hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. We were impressed with the maid who cleaned the room we were in 231 by the way, she found us a fan and was so helpful. Another shout out to the lovely lady preparing the hot food at breakfast it’s a shame you haven’t got more staff like her. Stayed at this hotel fifteen years ago quite regularly but this visit was a total disappointment and we will not be returning.

Stay here quite often. Staff were not that helpful this time. Chef and staff clearly arguing with each other at breakfast. Generally a bit rude around the hotel. Understand it is party season but music too loud too late for the swimmers in the building who were getting up at 7am. You could hear it in so many rooms. Booked for the summer again but may consider alternatives.

A real shame. Everything was great but a Christmas party in the hotel until 0000 spoiled the stay. It kept us up, late night & then our children were up at 0600. Staff were lovely especially the mamager Mr Costa. The food was dellicous innthe bar & at breakfast.

Hotel was in an ideal spot for being within walking distance to city centre but not to close. Staff from reception to bar staff were excellent,room was clean and comfortable nice choice for breakfast. Very nice stay
