Escape to the Big Island! Honomū Haven - 5bd/2ba At the Gateway to Akaka Falls
I was very disappointed in the condition of the property. The screens were loose letting the lizards in. I was awake mist if the night because I didn’t want one crawling on me. The oven didn’t work so we had to use the microwave. Since it it didn’t crisp the appetizers they were not good to eat.

The house was neat and clean! Great views and exactly what we were looking for. Definitely pay attention to the need for comfort in driving on unpaved roadways, well worth it!!

Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a Doubletree by Hilton
Beautiful view, staff very helpful, however the shower handle was almost broken and very small had to stand right next to the wall to get any water and couldn't adjust it
