This hotel is beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was waking up to some construction kind of sound, but I know that’s temporary. I’d stay here again, they definitely keep it up very well.

Amazingly comfortable bed. Clean, very friendly - remodeling going on so hopefully the parking and everything will get straightened out eventually. Close to some bum hang arounds down town so just be aware of that. The comfortable bed, staff, and being clean will likely bring me back.

They are working on renovations so there were things such as a restaurant not available for our stay. Staff were helpful and i wiuld stay again if i were to return to Anchorage.

The rooms and staff were great. But because it is still under construction, there is no elevator, bar or restaurant. We were told that those amenities would be ready by summer. The Hotel itself was very convenient for the Iditaarod, you could watch from your window. Also very convenient to the train station

I paid extra for the Harbor View and got construction. The rooms were decent and the bed and pillows were great. If I had not paid extra for the view, would have given a better rating.

Aviator Gaining Altitude in Downtown Anchorage

What a pleasant surprise! The room was absolutely amazing with new furnishings. Staff was great . No elevator, but they carry your bags upstairs for you. This is an old building that they are in the process of totally remodeling. Other reviewers have complained about construction noise, which could be very valid. We left for the 8 a.m. train, ( within walking distance) so the workers were there but hadn't started working yet. The owners, who we talked to have high hopes and have put a lot of effort into making this a great place to stay downtown.

Currently under remodel but the room and lobby area were beautiful. Staff was very friendly. We had a room on the second level which was street level and there was a lot of outside noise, on top of a fire alarm going off in the night. There was no elevator to get from the parking lot up to the second level, which was a hassle with two under two, so if you need an elevator ask for a ground floor room. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

I love the “new” renovation of this hotel! The room is beautiful. Many outlets and USB ports. Coffee maker and refrigerator, everything is there. The staff under the new management is outstanding, very helpful.

Great hotel

Brand new hotel, bedrooms lovely beds very comfortable. Location good. Couple of minor things they could do with, installing shelfs above toilet next to sink for toiletries, no were to put your toiletries apart from back in the bedroom. Suitcase stands are required.
