It was fine

The room was fine, spacious and had a separate bath and shower which was nice. It could definitely have been cleaner. There was also no bottled water, no bathrobe, no shower cap/tissues. The hairdryer looked promising and then I was disappointed to see it was one where I had to constantly press the button to make it work. And the kettle was attached to the tray so I had to fill mugs with water to fill it. The stay was fine but these wee things make a difference.

World Solo Drumming Weekend

Very good but very busy at breakfast and had to wait for coffee and mugs and bowls. Changing rooms for pool could be improved, but overall a very enjoyable weekend with fantastic helpful staff.

Excellent quality service at the DoubleTree Glasgo

The reception staff were amazing, i was travelling with a disabled client. I was asked if i had a preference to room options. We were delighted, when we were offered first floor room, with walk in shower, beautiful room with double and queen beds. And also close to the lift.

Hotel was lovely. Room was huge, clean and comfortable. Reception staff great, even let us leave our bags until our train later. Breakfast was great but the staff weren’t great at keeping things topped up, I’d say that’s the only thing that let the whole experience down.

3 night weekend stay to Glasgow.

Plenty choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. The Breakfast service was lovely, plenty choice. Very clean hotel. Staff were very nice & polite, and the hotel is located just a 10 mins from the bus station- easy to find. The hotel is great for city breaks, and literally 5 mins from Sauchiehall Street. Our room was really spacious, with a walk in wardrobe, and a wet room room/ shower so no shower tray. Easily accessible room.

Amazing stay

The room was absolutely immaculate and we were blown away by the bed as it was extremely comfy and very easy to sleep on. The staff were welcoming and friendly when we arrived and the welcome cookies were a nice added touch! We had the best time and will definitely come again :), thank you.

Fantastically clean rooms with safes for valuables; kettle, iron and board, tea and coffee, hairdryer and locely large samsung TV. Lighting in the rooms is thoughtful. Bathroom was pristine. Customer service could not be better. All staff were so helpful and attentive. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were excellent and very clean and hygienic. Breakfast buffet was diverse and can cater for vegetarian cooked breakfasts if ordered in advance although there are plenty of buffet options that are meat free too. The fresh fruit looked particularly appetising. Wifi worked well everywhere.

Couples night away

Been to this hotel a few times over the years which have all been good. On this visit I noticed a few changes. Room was ok but there was no fridge in the room, toilet was starting to show its age although the cleanliness was good. Breakfast was ok but out of the 4 coffee machines two weren’t working, one only had hot chocolate or hot water ! There were no warm plates for the hot breakfast items, and I need to say that I’ve never had black pudding slices that small! Overall I just got the feeling that cost cutting was taking the edge off this hotel
