At Sables d'Olonne, in the heart of the very quiet area of ​​La Chaume, close to the sea, this charming house offers a pleasant and relaxing holiday. The preservation of old materials combined with a personalized and stylish decor, the house reflects the spirit of old houses with their chaumoises many small nested constructions.

The house is rented for 5 people and has 2 beautifully appointed bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed 140x190 and a bedroom with 2 beds 80x190 (possibility of adapting 1 bed 160x190). It also has a large living room with tempered dining-room, living room (with TV WIFI internet access flat- screen), loft (reading area and relaxation) providing additional sleeping and fully equipped kitchen, walk-opening on a beautiful landscaped terrace of 30 m2 (table, chairs and wooden garden furniture).

The house also houses a charming garden adjoining a small garden at the back which allows the storage room Bicycle storage (access is possible to the terrain background).

Fabulous cottage

Just 5 minutes walk from Le Chaume and a couple of minutes from a local boulangerie and tabac is this lovely cottage with a gorgeous garden. On road parking right outside makes it convenient for parking. All you need is in the cottage from dishwasher, washing machine and tv. What makes it is the outdoor space although we didn't have the weather to take full advantage of it unfortunately. Communication with the owners was good and they were there to meet us and show us around. Excellent choice particularly if you want to be slightly away from the busier streets but not have to walk too far!

Lovely Property

Had a great stay in this lovely house. The garden and house are excellent. Jean and Chantal met us on arrival. They were really helpful and left us some flowers, a bottle of wine, water and brioche bread. We were invited to use any vegetables from the garden. There was lettuce, strawberries and artichokes available during our stay, the tomatoes, potatoes etc weren’t quite ready for picking. The property was very quiet and relaxing but is only a short walk to restaurants etc. Would definitely return

A highly recommended cottage

We were met on arrival by Msr. Marquis and his son with a warm and welcoming greeting and the moment we went into the cottage we knew we had found a winner. It is a lovely cottage, full of character, clean and tidy, and fully equipped with everything you could need (oven, microwave, coffee maker, bed linen, towels, dishwasher, BBQ, tv, stereo etc). The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent and all this with the bonus of a little garden (with fruit and veg. to hand) in which to relax after a hard day on the beach and enjoy a glass of wine. A short walk away to the boulangerie and a small store or to countless places to have a meal. The ferry across the harbour costs a modest 1 euro and takes you the expanse of the beach and more eating places as well as a shopping area. We have no hesitation in giving this cottage a 5 star rating......it is the best property we have ever stayed in and we are hoping that we will be able to return in the not too distant future. It is difficult to imagine how anybody could stay in this cottage and not be satisfied. DJ (Gloucestershire, England)

Herrlicher Urlaub in La Chaume!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem stimmig eingerichteten und vollständig ausgestatteten Ferienhaus von der ersten Sekunde bei der Ankunft genossen. Empfangen wurden wir sehr freundich von Chantal und Jean. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Die umfangreiche Austattung ist vollständig beschrieben so dass keine Fragen offen bleiben. Die meiste Zeit verbrachten wir allerdings auf der schönen Terasse im wunderschönen Garten. Bäcker, Metzger und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für diesen traumhaften Urlaub!

Superbe semaine

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine avec nos 2 petites filles. La maison est très agréable, lumineuse, aménagée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons profité du jardin où les enfants peuvent y jouer en toute sécurité. Le quartier de la Chaume est bien situé, près des commerces et du marché, l’accès à la grande plage est très facile. Des vacances sans utiliser la voiture super avec des enfants. Merci à Chantal et Jean pour leur sympathique accueil.

Fijn onthaal door de eigenaars Verzorgde en mooie inrichting van het huis Alles aanwezig om lekker te koken,maar ook vele lekkere restaurantjes in de buurt : Le Port ,l’ Echelle, le Fatra.... Beenhouwer en bakker op wandelafstand Toeristische uitstappen in de buurt : les Salines, les Machines de l’île, Le Puy du fou Conclusie : een aanrader!!

Ein mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Viel Herzblut steckt da im Haus. Ganz besonders war der herzliche Empfang und die Informationen zum Ort. Liebevolle private Atmosphäre. Selbst das Besteck um Fruit de mer zu essen war da. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Belle semaine sur la Chaume

Allez y les yeux fermés. Accueil attentionné et chaleureux par les propriétaires. Maison très agréable, décorée avec gout, un jardin où l'on prend plaisir à y prendre les repas. Le quartier de la Chaume est très agréable. Commerces à proximité, et visites à faire: la Guittière, Talmont st hilaire ( son chateau, la plage du Veillon), La Paracou, les Sables d'Olonne bien évidemment. Des propriétaires charmants et prêts à partager les bonnes adresses, les visites à faire... Une location parfaite pour des vacances avec des enfants: la maison est bien agencée, bien équipée, décorée avec goût et confortable. Le très beau jardin avec terrasse permet de profiter du calme de la maison et du quartier de la Chaume, le potager que les enfants allaient visiter chaque jour pour la cueillette des tomates, des courgettes et des fraises est mis à notre disposition. Le quartier de la Chaume est très agréable, calme et vivant à la fois, proche de toutes les commodités. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances sous le soleil vendéen, profitant tous les jours de la plage de la Paracou. Merci M. et Mme Marquis!

Maison superbement aménagée avec gout. Rien ne manque. Jardin avec terrasse charmant, plein sud. Des propriétaires sympathiques et attentionnés, aussi discrets qu'accueillants, ne négligeant pas de nous donner les bonnes adresses...
