The good: -The location was convenient to the beach and restaurants. -The concierge was polite and helpful. The cafe had affordable food that was quite good- recommend the açaí bowl and the service there was great. -cute little pool and sun deck The not so great: -DIRTY room. We booked through vacasa, so I don’t know if maintenance is different. But the room was all white which made it easy to see mystery stains throughout and mold (?) on the upholstered char. -valet parking $45 a night and unreliable. We called ahead an hour for our car, followed up once on our own, then the concierge called them and told us we gave them the wrong ticket number despite confirming the make and model of our car when we called -little sound insulation between rooms. It sounds like you are in the same room as your neighbors

I stay in Miami at least once a month. So happy I have finally found this hotel. By FAR the best hotel I have stayed at! Simple check in makes things so much better as well! The balcony was a surprise and I loved it! I have already booked another stay, and will continue to keep using the Meridian for all of my stays! Thank you!

Beds were comfortable- loved the location of my room. Nice balcony. The curtains wouldn’t close all the way and the curtains were dirty. The shower needed some deep cleaning as well. But overall- it’s a nice location. The beach was a decent walk. But cheaper price compared to other hotels.

The location is beautiful- perfectly nestled in the South of 5th neighborhood on a tree lined street. It’s an 8 minute walk to the beach and a 7 minute walk to grocery so it’s right in the middle of necessities. We were there during Spring break so it was… louder than we’d hoped, but I think that would be the case most places. The downstairs cafe provided delicious, affordable breakfasts (compared to the rest of Miami Beach) and the front desk was always very courteous and helpful. The photo of the lounge next to the pool doesn’t exist- it is now massage, reiki, spiritual healing room- and the pool is more for dipping than anything else as it is narrow and shallow. My biggest critique is that the room floors were simultaneously dirty and covered with a film of soap, but we fixed that by doing a one-over with a wet towel under our feet. All in all, I’d definitely stay again.

Very disappointed. Room and furnishings were in poor condition with evidence of a prior ceiling leak. Most concerning was the overwhelming smell of mold in the hallway and especially in the room. This was compounded by the very strong smell of chemical cleaners they use at the property. I experienced a severe migraine during my stay, which I believe was caused by these conditions. Additionally, we dealt with hotel guests smoking marijuana and this smell also overwhelmed our room. Staff was very nice and professional though and the complimentary bicycles was the only bright spot. Unfortunately, we would never stay here again nor would we recommend this property.

We stayed at The Meridian Miami Beach by Kasa for one night before our cruise and again for one night after. Overall, the technology-driven experience was impressive—remote check-in, remote checkout, and electric locks made everything smooth and hassle-free. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Everything you could possibly need—restaurants, shops, the beach—is basically right at the hotel doorstep. If you’re looking for convenience, this spot is hard to beat. Our first stay was mostly issue-free, aside from the overwhelming smell of weed everywhere. Not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but if you’re not into that, just know it’s unavoidable. Our second stay, however, had a pretty big oversight—our room was missing a second shower door. It looks like someone may have broken it before, but instead of putting up even a temporary shower curtain, they just left it wide open, meaning water splashed all over the bathroom floor. This led to the towels getting filthy from being on the floor, making me question how well the floors are actually cleaned. As for the weed smell, yeah, it’s strong. Everywhere. If you’re down to party or just looking for a free contact high, this place is great. If you prefer a fresh, clean-air experience, this might not be the spot for you. Overall, The Meridian is a solid choice if you’re in town for fun and want a seamless, tech-savvy stay in a prime location. Just be prepared for some quirks and a whole lot of Miami atmosphere.
