Top Lage mit viktorianischem Charme
"Hotel in top Lage, gerade mal 2 Minuten (um das Gebäude rum) bis zur Victoria Station (underground, Bus und Zug).
Das Doppelzimmer ist klein, wie erwartet für London. Ein Koffer lag auf dem Kofferplatz und einer neben dem kleinen Tisch, so konnte noch ums Bett herumgelaufen werden. Platz im Zimmer zum Schlafen völlig ausreichend. Im Schrank können einige Kleidungsstücke hängen, sonst ist dort nur der Safe, kleiner Kühlschrank und Utensilien für um sich einen Tee zu kochen.
Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden. Besser so, da es sonst ziemlich laut wäre. Wir hatten das Fenster zum Überdach der Viktoria Station. Als die Innenfenster (innen vor den älteren Fenstern) nicht richtig geschlossen waren, was es echt laut. Klimaanlage regelt die Temperatur. Wir hatten nie das Verlangen mal (typisch deutsch) zu lüften. Fenster mit Verdunklungsvorhängen. Betten waren bequem, mit schöner großer Decke.
Bad war sauber. Ein Abzieher für die Dusche wäre toll, sodass das Bad nicht zu lange feucht bleibt. Geht aber auch ohne. Das Wasser im Waschbecken lief nur sehr sehr langsam ab. Wurde, nachdem wir es an der Rezeption angemerkt hatten, während unsere Abwesenheit behoben.
Reinigung und neue Handtücher kann durch Anhängen des entsprechenden Schildes an der Tür geskipt werden.
Hotelteam zuvorkommend. Im Eingangsbereich wurden Türen aufgehalten, Gepäck nach draußen getragen und auch die Gepäckverwahrung am Abreisetag hat super funktioniert.
Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht."
