So terrible

My stay was so bad. Their service was terrible, they knocked my door twice in the morning and brought something I never requested. The iron was completely broken and missing a piece. The shower was nasty and dirty. The water in the was running weirdly, I couldn’t close the bottom to have strong flow on top. The drain of shower was completely plugged up, each time water was staying there to my shin. I am so disappointed and want compensation for my terrible stay.

The hotel was cute, clean, and a good value for SF. Front desk staff were friendly though a little low on clean towels. My main complaint was the breakfast tickets I paid for in advance. The restaurant next door is a separate business and clearly a little irritated by customers with these tickets and the service showed that compared to other guests despite tipping well. I’d encourage the hotel to reconsider this partnership if the restaurant staff are unhappy about honoring the coupon they agreed to. The breakfast was delicious but it might be a better value to just pay as a regular customer.

Good location and close to Union Square. Issues were that the AC wasn’t working at all, otherwise no issues with the room. They have done amazing upgrades to the room, still some outdated features like an old iHome side table clock with an original 30-pin iPod dock connector (almost 20 years old) for music connectivity. The drawers would slide open on their own and the bathroom door handle would not latch, could only keep it shut by locking it while in there. While these things need fixing, the rest of the stay, staff and cleanliness were amazing. Will definitely stay again!

Rooms were clean. Rooms were non smoking but smelled like smoke. Hallways require major update of flooring, carpet is really old and dirty, and bulging in many areas. Front desk service was great and cleaning staff friendly.

The room and entire hotel needs a bit more attention to grim build up and repainting. It was very evident that there has only been attention to the surface bare minimum. The Kingsize Bed was very comfortable.
