We arrived at H10 Casanova expecting the same level of service as H10 Cubik at our last stay. Needless to say, the staff was not very welcoming, particularly Eduardo. He was very transactional. Very unhelpful. The day staff and weekend staff were a little better but the vibe was completely different from Cubik.
I should have gone back. The location was close to Barcelona University—walking distance to many restaurants. The rooms were kept clean. Decent amenities. We had booked our stay through hotels. We needed to extend our stay another day. We asked the hotel to match the rate Hotels.com had on the website. Initially, they agreed. We went to pay and Eduardo gave us another quote that was twice as much as Hotels.com and more than their own website. When we said the other worker had agreed to match, he said no she was mistaken.
